Issue Description

When you create a new item in SharePoint Online, the associated workflow is not triggered as expected.

Error Message:

The following error occurs:

“Workflow name cannot be found”

Resolution

The fix is available in:

  1. Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative update installed. See KB001893 to see what Fix Pack level you have installed.
  2. Download the latest Fix Pack using the links in the table above for the version you require.
  3. Install the Fix Pack to apply the fix.
  4. It is recommended to clear browser cache and refresh the page.

Considerations

To get the correct values written to Workflow settings you will have to redeploy the package after applying this fix pack.

Note:

Older incorrect entries may cause the process starter to fail if it attempts to use a workflow name that no longer exists. In this case, the outdated database entries must be removed manually by deleting the relevant row from Integration ProcessSharePointWorkflow, ensuring that only the row containing the current workflow name remains.
