Issue Description

When you use an existing SharePoint Online integration with the legacy K2 Five for SharePoint app and attempt to activate a site, an error occurs.

Additionally, when you run the Registration Wizard, all items show a green check mark. However, at the end of the process, an “SP Open Authorization” error appears.

Error Message:

The following error occurs:

“Error issuing app only token”

Resolution

The fix is available in:

  1. Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative update installed. See KB001893 to see what Fix Pack level you have installed.
  2. Download the latest Fix Pack using the links in the table above for the version you require.
  3. Install the Fix Pack to apply the fix.

Considerations

After installing this fix pack, you will have to edit the following two config files within the ServiceBroker and set the "SkipRER" value and set them to true:

  • SourceCode.SmartObjects.Services.SharePoint.Integration.dll.config
  • SourceCode.SmartObjects.Services.SharePoint.dll.config

Once done, restart the K2 HostServer, refresh your browser and run the Registration & Activation wizards.
