You may notice that workflows are not sending task notifications and the below error is seen in the HostServer logs:
"Error","EventBus","7498","General","EventQueueProcessing.Process","7498 An error has occurred: System.Exception: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. : The EventBusInterop Container property is null.
Instructions
The issue can be caused by an incorrect version of SourceCode.MessageBus.Server.dll that is present on your environment.
To resolve the issue, you can try re-applying the last Cumulative Update or Fix Pack, if any, that is installed.
Alternatively, if you have another environment on the same version as the environment where the issue is occurring on, you can copy the SourceCode.MessageBus.Server.dll from the working environment and replace the existing dll in this location: C:\Program Files\K2\Host Server\Bin\HostedServices.
In the scenario where you do not have another environment on the same version, please contact Nintex Support by logging a support case to request for a copy of the SourceCode.MessageBus.Server.dll assembly.
