After enabling the SmartObject OData API and choosing which SmartObject can be accessed through the API, they do not appear when hitting the OData endpoints. The issue persists after ensuring the the changes were saved and verifying that the SmartObjects show as being enabled through the API in the WebAPI.PublishedObject table (i.e. ODataIsIncluded = 1). Furthermore, no errors are seen in the HostServer nor OData logs.
Instructions
This issue can occur when Category Security has been restricted. Added SmartObjects will need to have View rights added for the K2 Web Service Account in order for them to properly appear when accessing the SmartObject OData API. Once these rights have been added, an IISreset will need to be performed before the issue will be resolved.
