Issue
You may run into an issue where your PDF Converter service fails to start.
Error Code
You may see errors like this:
- ActionGroup.Execute: Logged Error: Target failed to execute: Start PDF Converter Service
- Windows could not start the k2 PDF converter service service on local computer. Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified
Resolution
In our case, we investigated the the properties of the PDF Converter service and found that there were quotation marks in the directory.
Removing them fixed the path and the problem was resolved. We ran this command in Command Prompt:
sc.exe config "K2 PDF Converter Service" binPath= "D:K2 blackpearlK2 PDF Converter ServiceSourceCode.PdfConverter.Api.exe --service"
