Code Fix: When alternating between workflow steps, references created in a SmartObject step are removed

Issue Description

When you add a SmartObject step with an item reference and add another SmartObject step using the item reference from step one, clicking between the steps results in the item reference field being removed and an error occurs.

Error Message

The following error occurs: “Missing reference: Item Reference field “Field” is linked to a parent that does not exist”.

Resolution

1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.1) installed.
2. Download the K2 Five (5.1) FP21 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
3. Install the K2 Five (5.1) FP21 to apply the fix.
4. Refresh the browser cache.
