What is the best way to convert an advanced smartobject to smartbox smartobject?

Instead of referring the Smart Box to any external database, I want it to point to the K2 SQL server. How can we convert it?

I don't think you can convert "Advanced SmartObject" to "SmartBox SmartObject" but you can convert "SmartBox SmartObject" to "Advanced SmartObject".
