Please elaborate what kind of project package are you referring to, and what name are you trying to change. Are you referring to the .kspx package created from the Package and Deployment tool? And what name are you referring to? The category? Your forms, views and SmartObjects?

I have a project that includes workflows and forms views and smart objects,

this project in production now,

I need to have a copy of this project to initiate new enhancement project.

so if I will use the Package and Deployment tool this it will overwrite the existing but i need a new one
