Hello together,

is there a way to use the SharePoint People Picker in a Smartform. If yes which control can I use?

Best regards

Matthias

Can you use the exact SharePoint people picker control? No.

Is there a control in SmartForms that is an equivalent to the SharePoint version? Yes.

It is called the “Picker Control”.

Picker Control in the Input section of the toolbox

It will need a SmartObject data source that exposes the users through which you want to search or validate input against. It will house the essential functionality for which you are looking comparable to the SharePoint version. It was the SharePoint version that inspired this control to begin with.

Agree with @scott, you can use picker control and bind that with SharePoint smart object.
