Just got a K2 VM with Windows 2016 DataCenter Evaluation.

After mounting, the Vm has been seemingly shutting down itself every 1 hour.

I checked the PC property, and discovered that the Windows server was not activated.

Please what is the way out, as I have been trying to familiarize with the new k2 five, but Vm keeps shutting down every 1 hour.

Regards all,

Edited.  Sorry I do not think my first answer applies .  There are online VMs that will autoamtically shutdown if not in use.  That doesn't appear to be the case in your case.  The other answer about rearming is probably your best bet.

Don't have exact instructions but look in the Windows Task Scheduler.  There maybe a K2 folder or section.  In there you can either disable or increase the time so its not every hour.

Can you rearm the activation?

If disabling shutdown task in Task Scheduler & executed "C:ResourcesConfigurationEnable RDP KeepAlive.ps1 does not work, then it might GPO thing (i.e. Launch Group Policy Management > Domains > denallix.com > K2)

Hello,

I tried rearming couple of times, but it kept saying Product ID not Found.

Will try out the Task scheduler option as suggested and duly revert with update.

Many thanks all for your time, advice and insight.
