when i run setup with service account on sharepoint app server to install k2 for sharepoint i get the attached error message . access denied , what rights are missing ?

Are you able to browse to the end point url (https://k2-qa-upu.int/autodiscover/api/metadocument/test) from the SP servers under the account that runs the app deployment tool? It sounds like the firewall is not opened between SP servers and the K2 server.
