Hello community, Starting here and there is something that I don't understand.I'm working on a workflow started by a form. So I've a SmartObject (SQL) linked in the form that I can use in the workflow. I have later added fields to my SO but I can't manage to get those later fields in my diagram. I only get the fields that were present when I intially associated my SO to my diagram through the form. Am I clear ? Any Idea ?

I need help with redirect of k2 smartforms url or direction of where to to go. On IIS I have managed to configure this >>When user hits https://formsqa.zipho.co.za, IIS redirects them to https://formsqa.zipho.co.za/Runtime/Form/Portal/. This was done on the main K2 site.But now when they log out and log in back again, K2 automatically takes the user to https://formsqa.zipho.co.za/Runtime/I would like to get assistence on now redirecting this to the full url once again (https://formsqa.zipho.co.za/Runtime/Form/Portal/). If I do on the runtime site on IIS then nothing loads at all and it complains about too many redirects. Your advise will be appreaciated.

I’m a K2 admin for our company and I’m trying to figure out how I can determine the original destination for a task that has been redirected. I’m often asked who redirected a particular task to another user but I haven’t been able to find a way to see how the first user was. Is there a way to do this either from the Management Dashboard or from the database tables?

hi, i am using pdf generator smo with url to generate pdf from another form using create pdf from url method but everytime it gives me pdf with login screen(not actual form data) in k2 cloud. please help me on it, if anyone have idea.

Hello, I am trying to sum up the values I selected in my picker control.This picker control is supposed to allow my end user to select multiple part numbers, for each of these part numbers there is a value associated with it.Thus I want to sum up the values selected in this picker control but am running into issues creating an expression to do this.Attached is a screenshot of the picker control where you can see the part number and the number associated with it.The value of the current customer demand should be 102 since I selected those two parts but it just is returned as 0.

Is there a way to generate SmartObjects as a workflow step so that they can be used later. I have a workflow that creates a document library at an early stage of its process. I want to, at a later stage, perform actions like Get Documents and Update Document, etc. on the items in this document library. The problem is that the library doesn't exist until the workflow runs so I can't create the SmartObjects now that I need to call in the workflow. Is there a way to create the SmartObjects on the library as a step in the workflow and make a reference so that I can call that SmartObject's methods later?

apparently when i look at an activity report the workflow instance folio field should be filled with the title of the form , but this does not seem to be the case ?

Is there anyway to turn off tool tips on controls? If there is no text - it displays the field text.If you add in a ' ' space it displays as a blank box. Our QA would like it to not show at all.

Hi, I already have logic to check if a User is on a Mobile Device (using an advanced condition against User Agent). This may sound far fetched, but is it possible to also check if the User is Offline? To clarify, the scenario for this would be if the user is using the K2 Workspace App and is in Offline Mode (or has no connectivity). PowerApps has this property exposed, just wondering if K2 does!  Thanks :) 

I have several list view elements on the form.I try to hide the list view, if they are empty, it does not work. I set up the rule http://prntscr.com/m4s7j9 during initialization.How can I hide the list view on the form? 

What is best practice for:I have a TEST environment SQL database and a PRODUCTION environment SQL database. I created some views/forms using SmartObjects that were service instances of the TEST SQL database but now that I’ve completed testing the views/forms, I am ready to use the PRODUCTION SQL database. Will I have to re-develop all of the views/forms with the PRODUCTION SQL service instance, or should I just replace the TEST smart objects with the PROD smart objects? Or is it possible to update the server within the existing TEST service instance or would this break everything? I am just trying to figure out what my options are without having to completely re-develop since everything will be the same (views and forms); the only difference being, instead of modifying our TEST SQL database with the K2 forms, I want to modify our PRODUCTION SQL database.Here is an example for further clarification:Let’s say my form asks for Name and Email. I am using a SmartObject to store this data in

I know that the picker does not have a "NOT CONTAIN" filter, sadly for us all as it would be quite helpful.However it does have a "NOT EQUALS"       With an exact match it should have worked in filtering it out, but it does not.Is that an issue you guys have found by any chance?

Hello All,We're in the middle of converting some workflows to V5.One thing that is different is the Workflow view.On the old workflow, you can click on the Activity and an Activity Summary window pops up with several tabs of information. If the workflow has had several iterations at the current activity, the history is available and you can step back through the iterations to review information.On the new workflow, I can see where I am in the workflow, but I don't get the extra data that was available in the old workflow view.Q:  Is that extra information available elsewhere? Is my workflow not working properly?Thank you for any insights. -tomas

Hi as per subject I had like to know if the create and update methods are available for the smartobject OData API service (the one available in Management/Integration/APIs/Smartobject OData) I did some test and it seems these are not implemented... Is this correct or am I missing something? Thanks in advancedc1

Hi,I am working on K2 Five installed on a single server and I want to split it to two environments. Unfortunately, K2 Environment Library manual is insufficient for me to be able setup both environments and I need your help.  In my K2 both Developer and Production environments exist in the Environment Library settings in Management, but I have no idea how to switch between them. Right now, all value fields in both environments are identical. Do I need to create different second domain with different webpages and insert them in value fields (K2-Dev.com/Designer and K2-Prod.com/Designer)? Or can I setup both environments under one domain (K2.com/Dev/Designer and K2.com/Prod/Designer)? Do I have to create new sites in IIS Manager on my server? I will be glad for any help on how to make both environments work separately on a single server only. Thank you,Przemek

Hi,I have a column in my listview which is Yes/No . If its value is ‘Yes’ I want to change the row color to green and in case of ‘No’ , row color should be red. So while running the form, listview rows should show these colors depending on Yes/No column value.How to customize the background color of rows in listviews? Thanks

Turns out that we already have listed 8 Fix Packs for K2 Five...https://help.k2.com/kb002044 Either the Develpment is moving to light speed or is just very buggy and they try to quick patch bunch of things, but from the page links: To obtain the latest Fix Pack installer, please contact your regional K2 support center. Really... not only need to make sure you contact K2 Support Center, there is no easy access to the patches.. Don't plan to do this on a Fri night, might need to wait until Mon to get the Fix Packs. Dino.

Dear All,I'm on a trial account, when trying to create workflow there was an error and I couldn't figure it out where did it come from. This was my 2nd workflow, I deleted my previous workflow because it was also showed that error. Unless I could figure this error out, I wouldn't be able to continue my test on k2 form and workflow until my trial runs out. Could anyone help me solve that error?Thanks.Best Regards,Ariwibawa

Hi guys, i have a SmartObject property called Emails which contain two emails with ; seperating them, so i drag in the Email control on my workflow to my Task recipient but task only drop for one email instead of the two emails

Hello, Where do I configure the "From Address" in an email activity in K2 five designer? (Like the one that we have in older version).I dont seem to find that option in the New workflow designer.
