How to make use of customUserId field on licensed user SMO?

Hi,

I have identified that there is a field customUserId on the Licensed User SMO. Does anybody now how it can be populated?

Ideally, we would like to assign each licensed user our internal userId so that the data can be analysed in an easier manner.
