How to create picker control to search domain user or local active directory users

In my smartform i have added one picker control.

 

In that control i am going to enter  my local active directory user id and resolve them.

 

Kindly help how configure the smarobject data source for that or anyother way to achieve the above requirement.

There is a couple ways to implement this. It will depend on your scenario. I think the easiest approach is going to use the UMUser SmartObject for the picker control, this approach takes advantage of K2 identity cache and will return faster results when resolving the user in picker control, link.

Thanks Khanh. In the article there was "UMUser"smarobject is mentioned.

 

But i am not able to find that object in my designer. do i need create the smartobject.

 

Note : I am using K2 Five designer.
