Hello All,

I have a smart object that creates a local file and places it in the folder. Is there any way to attach the local file with its content in the E-mail wizard?

Example path of the file: C:/Folder/File.txt

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Shoby.

Hi,

Perhaps, the file service broker might help

Shoby,

You can do this by opening the email event wizard and step through to the step where you customize the email. Click the down arrow next to the "To" field.

If you finish and deploy you should see your attachments in the email.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Bryan Peters

I just realized you said the smo saves the file to your machine not the other way around. You can create an attachment smo and save this attachments to your form and call them when the form loads. This is what I was basing my example off of.

Thanks,
