Error Refreshing service instance. Remote server returned an error :(500) Internal Server error

SharePoint List Smart object is returning an error while opening "K2- Application" tab from SharePoint. 

SharePoint list is having more than 5000 records. when trying to regenerate SMO from the list, below error message is appearing.  

Error msg: 

Error Refreshing service instance. Remote server returned an error :(500) Internal Server error.

 

Using SharePoint online with K2 5.2 Version

    Have you tried to refresh another SharePoint List to determine if it occurs. Perhaps it could be a general issue that needs to be resolved, and not only applicable to the list you are trying to refresh.

    Or create a new temporary list to test if it works.

    Perhaps also try to re-register your K2 App for SharePoint in the App Catalogue to ensure all the connections and settings are up to date.

    If no success, then log a support case with Nintex.

    I would recommend applying latest CU and Fix Packs and see if that resolves the issue.

    Hi samuelcamacho,

    Above issue is happening only to the list which is having more than 5000 records in SharePoint list and other lists are working fine without an issue.
    We tried with the Reregister the K2 for SharePoint App catalogue, but no luck
