In K2 Five, I can't seem to find where to configure the slot to allow only one among mulitiple destination users to open the task. Can you help please?

Under 'Task Result Rule' there is an 'options' dropdown where you can specify 'one response'. There is a check box that is checks that enables the functionality you seek. If you uncheck then everyone can open the task etc. From you inquiry this sounds like the equivillent in regard to legacy thick client functionality.
