We have a picker control going into the AD Explorer to look for users in our domain.
Scenario:
QA - Click Magnifier icon to display Search Window
Click Magnifier Icon and then Cancel button to close Search Window
The process still runs and freezes the screen.
Any suggestions for this?

Out of curiosity, does the behavior change if you search for specific user instead of clicking the magnifier glass, this will try to find/return all the users in the domain. I suspect the Ajax call is still pending (processing) at the time, you can run Chrome/IE in F12 developer mode and take a look at the network tab, there should be few ajax calls with the longest execution times.
