Can K2 Five send email through AD group's email?

I have an AD group that has an email associated with it.

When I assign the AD group to task recipient (do not resolve to individual user), I was expecting K2 to send the email assigned to the AD group, but it didn’t.

 

Does anyone have gotten K2 Five (5.6+) sending task email to AD group’s email address?
