+13I have an AD group that has an email associated with it.
When I assign the AD group to task recipient (do not resolve to individual user), I was expecting K2 to send the email assigned to the AD group, but it didn’t.
Does anyone have gotten K2 Five (5.6+) sending task email to AD group’s email address?
+1That has always been a challenge for K2 and for some reason I thought that got worked out. I don’t have an environment up at the moment to test. A potential workaround would be you could add a mail event right before the task step, you could then use the “Users and Groups” SmartObject and the “Get Email for Group” method to fill in the “to” line of the email event. Since the mail step is in the same multistep as your task you should have access to the Task URL from the context browser.
The caveat here is that you won’t be able to use SmartActions.
