Issue Description

When you log into K2 using the Windows Security Token Service (STS), the user cannot log in and an error occurs.

Error Message:

The following error occurs: “The server is not operational”

Resolution

The fix is available in:

  1. Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative update installed. See KB001893 to see what Fix Pack level you have installed.
  2. Download the latest Fix Pack using the links in the table above for the version you require.
  3. Install the Fix Pack to apply the fix.

Considerations

The below config setting must be made in order for the Fix Pack to take effect": 

<add key="StaticFallbackDomain" value="K2Test" />

where the specific AD controller should be specified in the value attribute to be used as the fallback
