Hi everyone! Nintex Apps 17.12.4.0 is live 🎉 Here's what launched in September along with a few highlights from earlier this quarter.
A seamless platform experience
Apps are a part of the new Nintex platform experience.
Solutions
New apps can now be created in Solutions. Build a solution to manage and deploy new apps, Tables, Workflows, and document packages.
Coming soon: support for moving existing assets into a solution
Integrated settings and connections
Apps settings, designer permissions, and Tables and Connection management are now integrated into the platform experience.
Unified connectors: In Integrations, you can configure unified connectors for use in Apps and Workflow. Apps-only connectors can be found and configured in the Apps section
Heads up: Nintex Tables are now managed in Tables. (This was previously called “Nintex Data” and managed in “Data”.)
Quickly create one-off actions
Need an action for just one interaction? Create a one-off action anywhere interactions are supported, then convert it into a reusable action flow when you need to add additional actions or use it elsewhere.
Heads up: This change also included removing the component-bound actions section from the actions panel since these actions are now managed in the component context.
📝 Also notable
- More flexible display logic. Mix and match multiple display logic conditions on an element without creating a new combination for every scenario.
- Faster formula setup. UI-only field IDs now generate from your labels, and you can edit formulas directly in the field modal. The Evaluate formula fields action also defaults to all rows in the model, saving setup clicks.
