Nintex is excited to announce a new Nintex connector for the Microsoft Power Platform. Microsoft users can now initiate Nintex AI-powered workflow and document automations within the Microsoft applications they use every day.
Streamline design: Whether building in Microsoft Power Automate or training AI agents in Copilot Studio, easily call Nintex AI-powered forms, complex long-running workflows, and document generation.
Deliver efficiency: Complete a digital form, automate a workflow, generate a personalized document and route for esignature, all within Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Logic Apps.
Get started quickly: Automate the generation and signature of personalized onboarding documents with an example employee onboarding agent for HR teams
What’s Now Possible
Connect to your Nintex workflows directly from within Power Automate and Copilot Studio
Organizations that are building with both Nintex and the Microsoft Power Platform, will now find the new ‘Start Workflow’ capability within their connector library inside Power Platform tools like Power Automation and Copilot Studio.

This first new connector action can extend access to several key Nintex capabilities:
- State-Based Workflow Orchestration
Design and control long-running workflows with state logic and process visibility. - Document Generation
Generate formatted, data-driven documents as part of any flow. Pull from Microsoft 365, SQL, or external systems. - eSignature Integration
Route documents for secure, compliant signing through a native step in your flows.
To access your Nintex workflows, it is as easy as adding the action to your workflow, then selecting which workflow you would like to trigger, and what starting information you would like to pass from Power Automate into Nintex.

Once your workflow has completed you can also get data back from the workflow that you can then continue to use within your Power Automate flow.
Building with Copilot Agents
Looking to start building AI agents for your organization’s teams using Copilot, but want to access your Nintex capabilities? The new Nintex connector for Power Platform has you covered. With the introduction of the Nintex connector, Copilot agents can now access the power of Nintex through their extended Action Framework.

Similar to actions within Power Automate, Copilot designers can find the new Nintex Workflow action directly within their design space and can configure their agent to make calls out to Nintex to greatly expand their native capabilities.

Why This Matters
For Power Platform Developers:
You now have access to advanced low-code workflow automation, document generation, and digital signature tooling—within Power Automate or Copilot Studio. No need to reinvent these components.
For Existing Nintex Customers:
Extend your existing workflows into Microsoft’s AI ecosystem. Build copilots that trigger workflows or handle multi-step processes using your existing investments.
For Organizations Scaling Automation:
This connector bridges the vast capabilities of Microsoft Power Platform with the low-code, rapid deployment of Nintex forms and workflows so teams can automate processes faster and easier than ever before.
