Based on a Euan Gamble‌ Tweet.

As mentioned at Xchange, Form Variables are coming to Nintex Forms for Office 365 very soon!

Set column data with hidden calculations!

Will those variables be also available for Standard Forms or only for the RWD aka Universal?

Hi Tomasz Poszytek‌,

Interesting that you asked, as the variable windows looks like responsive. This same functionality is available in Classic and Responsive for Nintex Forms for Office 365.

Cheers,

Euan

Will it only apply to text fields or will there be some possibilities to set e.g. choice fields as well?

Hi Glenda,

A Form Variable is like a calculated value control that is not bound to a control. Its just calculated behind the scenes. Does that answer your question?

Cheers,

Euan
