Issue Description
Given a workflow containing an Item Reference, where the value of the Item Reference is greater than 256 characters, an error occurs during the K2 transaction logging.
Error Message
An error stating "String or binary data would be truncated" displays in the Server.Log table .
Cause
This was due to the value being greater than 256 characters.
Resolution
- Ensure you have K2 4.7 installed.
- Install the K2 4.7 February 2017 Cumulative Update.
- Get the K2 4.7 February Cumulative Update FP5 from Regional Support.
- Install the K2 4.7 February Cumulative Update FP5 to apply the fix.
