Preceding rule ignored?

When I inovke the GoToActivity method available in K2 .NET API, does the target activity preceding rule ignored?

According to the documentation it "forces the process instance to start the activity specified in the ‘ActivityName’ parameter"

    Yes the proceding rule will be ignored according to the documentation.
