We have current requirement to retrieve a list of documents, display it in a listview and then to have a button on the listview that will download all the documents displayed.
We are using Internet Explorer 11.

This works great with Chrome, but Internet Explorer will only download one file.

non-user-initiated file downloads are blocked in IE. That means it should not be possible to download more than one file as the result of a single user-click.
