Power Automate to start a K2 Workflow

When using the K2 Start Workflow Connector from Power Automate, I add the Workflow ID, but then get this error:Failed to retrieve dynamic inputs. Error details: 'The dynamic operation request to API 'k2workflow' operation 'GetWorkflowSchema' failed with status code 'TemporaryRedirect'. This may indicate invalid input parameters. Error response: { "error": { "code": 307, "source": "europe-001.azure-apim.net", "clientRequestId": "xxxxxxx-xxxx-4xxx-xzxxx-xxxxxx", "message": "The response is not in a JSON format.", "innerError": "Cannot read server response." } }' I just want to see if we can start a K2 Workflow from Power Automate.Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

K2 Server Migration

We are running K2 5.6i want to move our server installation to a newer OS and serveri also want to move the K2 database to newer OS and serveri also want to upgrade to 5.7what is the best practice for this?currently thinking build new server, install K2point SQL database to new servertest and make sure workingthen turn off old K2 instancerename new server to old K2 servername ( will there be problems with this?)restore K2 database to new serverrun reconfigure on new K2 server to reapply settingsanyone performed this task before, would love to hear experience

Deploy Legacy Flow with Visual Studio Error

i am edit and deploy flow with Visual Studio appear error “domain\user does not have right to export processes”, but i set my account in Package and Deployment Role and set permission in Server Right Export,still Error

K2 App for Sharepoint and Sharepoint Add-in Retirement

SharePoint Add-Ins will stop working for new tenants as of November 1st, 2024 and they will stop working for existing tenants and will be fully retired as of April 2nd, 2026.Will the K2 App for SharePoint App be affected by this change from Microsoft?

K2 Five and Bing Maps

We are using K2 Five (5.5).  I would like to use the bing maps connector as described here:https://help.nintex.com/en-us/nwc/Content/Designer/Connectors/BingMapsConnector.htmIt looks like I can send and address to this connection and get a county in return, which is exactly my goal.BUT I cannot figure out how to add this to K2 Five (5.5).Can anyone here explain?

Send an Email - Form Rule does not always send an email to external email addresses

Hi,Anyone got any suggestions on this, I have a K2 form which has 2x Send Email rules when a button is clicked. One email is sent internally and always arrives, but the other email is not always received by the end user (which could be any external email address such as hotmail/gmail/outlook etc etc).I’ve carried out some tests and no email is received in any folder (yes including junk/spam) for hotmail/gmail. But the email was received in an Outlook.com account (but in the junk mail folder).Any ideas why this is the case? The email is sent via SMTP (when via Send Email Rule via form), so not sure how to proceed, any ideas anyone?Thanks

Mask a parameter

Hi,I have a rule which calls another form and passes a paramater to it. Problem is, users can see that paramater in the browser URL and change it. Is there anyway of masking a paramater name and id displayed in browser?Thanks,

K2 4.7 Edit and deploy with k2studio not show pop-up deploy.

HiI downloaded Legacy Workflow 4.7 on K2 Five and edited it on K2 Studio. However, when I click the deploy button, the pop-up for deployment does not appear.

How to get ActivityInstanceId of a SmartObject step in "Wait for External System" state using API?

I have a workflow that pauses for external system work using the “Wait for External System” (Synchronous) option on a SmartObject step. When it’s in this state, it does NOT show up when I call GetWorklistItems using the Management API (because it’s not in a worklist). If I dig through the database (we are running on-premise) I can see the current activity instance in the log table, but I’d prefer to get this information from the API and ot via SQL Query so that we can one day move to the cloud based version.  Anyone know how to find this using the API? Obviously the Workspace front-end is able to query this information via some API, since it shows what the current activity is and how long it’s been there.Please note that I do NOT want the list of Activities, I want the Activity INSTANCE of the current step of of a given Process Instance when it’s in the waiting state. Thanks!

K2 management shows 'object reference not set to an instance of an object' on refreshing the page

When I refresh K2 management, it shows a pop up message saying 'object reference not set to an instance of an object' . The page is blank. Has anyone encountered this issue? K2 v5.7

Sync Service scheduler question

Hi,How many of you are using the new Sync Service?If you are, what time are you setting for the sync schedule just out of interest and is there a specific reason you are using that time? see below extract? “You can schedule an amount of time to sync between three minutes and seven days. You must enter it in the following format: DD:HH:MM:SS. For example, 00:07:00:00 is seven hours “ When i upgrade to v5.7, i am thinking of installing the Sync Service afterwards.Anything to look out for or pitfalls?

Restart All Workflows after a K2 Version upgrade to 5.4

 After upgrading to version 5.4, there is a need to restart over 500 workflows in K2. Apart from the manual process of doing them one at a time is there any better way of doing it. Is it possible to create a tool for automating this task?

Which database table have a records of all the completed workflow instances

Hi team, Could you please help which database table have the records of all the completed workflow instances?  I believe that the active workflow instance tables are: [K2].[ServerLog].[ProcInst][K2].[ServerLog].[ProcInstData] thanks and much appreciated for your help.

Which database table has a record of all the workflow folios and process instance IDs that exist across all our forms?all

We have nearly 50 smartforms and workflows and I need to get a count of how individual workflow instances were initialized since the beginning of time.Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I know the old legacy K2 Black Pearl can create files in the workflow but can the newer version of K2 Five workflow be used to create a txt file with a forms based workflow? Thanks Dave

K2 listview export to Excel doesn't include the colors of each column

Hi,I am using a listview to display specific records. Each record is reference from KPI table wherein it changes the background color of column with specific color if it’s overdue. Could be blue, green, yellow and red.When exported to excel, the column color is not included which is an important feature to show significant value in the reports. The report is with corresponding monetary value.If anyone have done this, kindly share or at least advice.Thank you,
