Changing Folio on Running Instances

I should have been more specific. I didn't mean the instances that are in "Running" status. I meant the instances that are currently active and awaiting approvers' action. I set folio at the begining of WF. We are going to modify Workflow to include additional info in Folio. So this change will be affective on future instances but I was hoping to update for Folio for instances that have already been submitted and are active. I was thinking we may be able to update tables where Folio is stored and we update folio there for active instances.
