Display array data as a comma separated list

We have a use case where we need to display array data in a comma separated list rather than as table rows. We're using an older version of Nintex DocGen 16.5.0.  The base object is a custom object and there is a lookup to another custom object that stores all of the participants tied to the base through a master/detail relationship.  So for each base object, we can have many participants. We're interested in displaying the information like this:Clients: Sally Jones, John Jones, Carol Star, Kathy Thomas It would need to be a name followed by a comma and a space and then the next name. There should be no comma after the final item in the list. Is there way to accomplish this in Nintex DocGen? Thank you for your help!

Docgen Error due to rich text field

I am getting an data invalid error due to my rich text field for some records and few records are working fine whenever I am running my docgen package through docgen button present in object layout. But all the records are working fine whenever I am testing the docgen package through button present on the docgen package layout

Automation Error: Missing targetObjectId with template (ExternalError)

I have a process builder that calls Apex "Run DDP" to send an auto-response. Package and Delivery Option (Email) are configured with the correct email template. I'm getting an error when the process builder runs.  "Error sending Salesforce email for (Case:<<Id here>>) (required_field_missing): Missing targetObjectId with template (ExternalError)"  What am I missing? I do not have contact selected, I need this to be sent to the "Additional To" pre-defined email.

ATTENTION: Upgrade Nintex Drawloop to Avoid Flash End of Life Impact

Update 2020-Nov-06: Drawloop DocGen v17.0 is now available on the AppExchange. V17.0+ has support for connecting data such as Salesforce Reports, or Excel templates (fka as Excel as Middleware), you can now manage your DocGen Package templates without the need for Adobe Flash. What is changing?   In 2017, Adobe announced the End of Life plans for Adobe Flash. Multiple web browsers have announced that at the end of 2020 they will be removing support for Adobe Flash (Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge , Safari).  You will need to upgrade to the latest version of Nintex Drawloop DocGen to maintain full functionality. What happens after support for Flash is removed?  Once support for Flash is removed from web browsers, the plugin will no longer load, preventing you from interacting with previously available web experiences that made use of the Flash technology.   You may already experience something similar now when using Chrome where it prompts you to Allow access.What does the removal of Fl

Signature Tags for Salesforce, DocuSign, & Drawloop

Hello.  I am new to using Drawloop & Docusign within Salesforce.  I am used to using Apttus CLM with AdobeSign within Salesforce.  I am finding signature and signed date tags a bit clunky.  Maybe it is just because I am new to these dynamics.  I am having difficulty finding any literature or discussions about this topic in a Google search.  I can find tons of easily accessible information on Apttus & AdobeSign, but not DocuSign or Drawloop.     The dl tags have very limited formatting options, or so I have read in an old article.  For example, it seems like one can choose to have time stamps on all signed dates or none of the signed dates.   So my initial questions are:  1.  Are there DocuSign tags that can be used in Word and PDF documents similar to those that can be used in any PDF or Word doc and recognized by AdobeSign where I can control the format, color, font size, length of field by the formatting used to type or insert the tag into my document?  2.  Is there a DocuSig

Issue with Email Delivery Option using DocGen Package for Mass Generation

Hi -We are having issues with testing the Email Delivery option to get it to work for Mass Generation of documents. Even with selecting a Package and doing the Test Docgen Package does not send any email to the contacts. Please help with this. Thank you in advance.

Images do not display in an email notification (Gmail)

Hi! While sending an email notification, the image in the Gmail browser is not available, yet it can be visible in the app... The image on the template (.docx) is copy pasted. Gmail browser:Could you guys help wit it ? Many thanks!

SOQL query challenge

All, I have a query which works perfectly in workbench or developer console but does not seem to recognise in nintex docgen package SOQL query area under documents section. It says A query containing an inner query must have a Copy Type of Table.   Anyone know any resolution for this? How do I overcome this? Thanks

Field not displaying in Field Tagger

We created a new field on GAU Allocation and need to pull this into our template. The field does not appear in the Field Tagger. I've already set the field-level security. Is there a lag between field creation and availability for use in Nintex? Any other suggestions?

Clone Package in salesforce lightning

In salesforce classic there is a "Clone" button available to replicate a docgen package. Is the clone feature also available in salesforce lightning? I'm not seeing it as an option. Please advise.

Ordering by text field in sub query

In Doc Gen we are printing out mailing information, I have been asked to make it alphabetically sorted by a text field in a sub query. Using Order By in the sub query does not cause an error, but neither does it cause the final records to be sorted the way we would like. Mass DocGen notifications going to an old coworkers email

This is small, but annoying. When I do a mass DocGen run, I get email notifications. That's fine. But copied on those emails is the former admin. Since her email address is inactive, I get a bounce-back from Outlook with each email notification. I can't find where to adjust who should receive these email notifications. She's inactivated in Salesforce, and isn't a User or Admin in Nintex. Help?

Page Repetition in PowerPoint

Hi All,I have what I think is a simple enough situation which I hope you can help me with.I have Rich Text field on my Opportunity Object called "Recommendations".In our org, the Opp owner simply writes up a list of recommendations for the opportunity project in question.The issue I'm having with this field in DocGen, is that If the length of the rich text field is quite long, the PPT template page I have in my DocGen package does not repeat/extend to keep displaying the remainder of the text that did not fit on the first page.This happens by default with a Word Doc. Is there anything I can do with my PPT template to make this happen correctly?Or must I resign myself to using a Word Doc for this?Thanks,Paul

Salesforce Web Tab

I've created a web tab that directs to the Drawloop DocGen Run Page with the following URL:/apex/loop__masslooplus?&reportObject=Dog__c&contactfield=Contact&ddpIds=a18Z00000020zliIAA&deploy=a16Z0000001s5VwIAI&reportForlderId=00l1L000002BIDmQAO&reportId=00OZ0000000tDCCMA2the org is configured to run Mass via report and I have access to all the folders and reports.  The issue I'm having is that the Run button at the bottom of the Drawloop DocGen Run Page is not highlighted and I'm not able to run the job.

Nintex Drawloop: Document Generation Data Issue

We are facing a strange issue while generating the Document. When we are using tags for section replication (child records). As shown below if the first child record field holds a value and the second child record field is empty. Then in the replication the first child record field value is getting populated in the second record field.   Child Record 1: Field1 = ‘ABC’      Field2 = ‘DEF’Child Record 2: Field1 = ‘GHI’      Field2 = ‘ ‘Child Record 3: Field1 = ‘JKL’      Field2 = ‘ ‘ Generated Table(SOQL Relation) Record Field1 Field2 Child Record 1 ABC DEF Child Record 2 GHI DEF Child Record 3 JKL DEF   we are facing this issue only when we are getting data from the SOQL relationship. Its working fine with the Stand Alone Data Relationship. Generated Table (Stand Alone Data Relationship) Record Field1 Field2 Child Record 1 ABC DEF Child Record 2

Hi Experts,I have created a new DocGen Package and now trying to upload the template file (.doc format). I am Getting  [Apex CPU time limit exceeded] error. Synchronously generating document using Drawloop with LWC

Hi Team,   While generating document we are creating a new record in the system and at the same time file should be generated under the same record using quick action buttons. But, it is taking time to generate the file.   Can we have any solution through which we can show the spinner to the user on LWC till the files are not generated? Can we get a Schnrounous response in Drawloop?

Result is individual documents, not merged

I'm having an odd issue. One of my documents works great when testing the package, or running from the tool in the package detail page. However, when I run the document using a link button from the Opportunity detail page, the result is a list of individual documents. Thoughts?
