Hello all, I'm hoping I can get some insight. I'm currently working on a workflow to create sites programmically. Right now, I got the site creation and permissions down, but the version of Nintex I have forces me to use a web request and SharePoints REST API to do this. Now, I've found Microsoft's documentation, but it unfortunately doesn't fit one to one with the fields in the web request action. So what I'm hoping for is an example of someone else with either a working web request within SharePoint online, or a working delete/create library request. Or other insight if I'm totally up the wrong tree.
i want to trigger an email when this variable is = Today. how can I make sure the workflow knows when it is today?

I am working on creating a Nintex Form in O365 and running into an issue. We have multiple list we store on a seperate site collection and these list are referenced on multiple forms. In Nintex for SharePoint 2013 you were able to use a "List Lookup" control to reference a list on a seperate site collection. Is this functionality not available in Nintex for O365? I have tried using a relative and full URL's in the field, but receive the same error. Any help or guidance is appreciated!
Hello, I am having an issue with a workflow I have built. I have a list that captures the user inputting the data automatically. When the user selects the save button, a workflow runs against Active Directory to go out and find their manager and save it to a column on the list. What I am trying to do is run a site level workflow that will loop through each line item and update their manager on a daily basis, in the event their manager changes. The list has a column called employee status, which is a choice column. The choices are "Active" and "Terminated". I only want to run the site level workflow against the "Active" Employees. In the past I have used the "query AD profile" action and am able to successfully resolve managers from Active Directory. What I cannot figure out is a loop function that collect all the employees with a status of "Active" and have the loop update the list accordingly. Can anyone help me out with this?
Hey there,i have a client who has a video production request form. They want to develop a validation in the form to ensure that the date of production is not less than 14 days from today. I've been struggling to develop an expression that will work. I've seen an example for the old environment, which is below but how can I do this in Nintex 365?https://community.nintex.com/t5/Community-Blogs/How-to-complete-Date-Validation-using-Nintex-Forms-2013/ba-p/77102
Hi Community In a Nintex for o365 Workflow running against a SharePoint Online List, I would like to read the selected value from a 'Choice control' on a Nintex for o365 Responsive Form whose "Connected to" setting is equal to "Not connected". Below is a screenshot of the choice control:Essentially the Form asks the user to pick from the two choices 'Approved' or 'Discontinued', when my workflow runs, I need to get the result of the value selected? I tried the QueryXML Action against the NFFormData, from the settings below I am able to return the / (root) of the XML source... but not sure how to set the Query Path to get the actual value I need? I need the value underlined in yellow Thank you in advance for any assistance
I'm importing an RSS feed into a list using Nintex workflow. The date format in feed item is "Fri, 16 Dec 2018 05:50:06 EST". i want to convert this date into a date time field and insert into the column. I used Convert value action for this. the configuration is as in below screenshot. I was getting error "String was not recognized as a valid DateTime.". I tried different combinations, but its giving error. Could some one help me with the format I should use for acheiving this.

Hi, I set my form background color to black with white text and field box backgrounds to light grey. Everything works great in new mode and edit mode but not in view mode. In view mode the choice fields are not keeping the set background color and are defaulting to the black background. When this happens the text is impossible to read. Is there a way to toggle the text color on this to stand out more ?
I'm looking to utilize the "office 365 add user to group" to automate access requests using lazy approval. I've got the lazy approval working but want to add a step to the workflow that if approved to automatically add the requested user to a specified SharePoint group. Having some trouble with the options for "office 365 add user to group" so wanted to reach out to you all. Any help/recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Everyone, We are using Office 365 and Nintex workflow and trying to change item permissions when a request is submitted. For this i have used "Office 365 update item permissions" workflow action and keep on getting the following error. "The destination site was unable to process request. The provided credentials might not have access to the site." Even i tried using the tenant admin account but no luck. I am sure this is not a permissions issue but something else. Please advice if anyone have faced this problem.
I have a form which asks the user to to enter a time/time for a request. I would like the form to display the current time/date in the time/date picker. Is this possible? I don't any restrictions on the date (past/future).
I'm struggling to find a solution to this - I would like to have a document cover page with some basic information from Sharepoint (author/title etc) which works fine. However I really want an 'approved document history' table, which would look something like this (to be placed on the front cover of a word doc): Version Date Approver Comments 1.0 01-01-2016 Joe Bloggs First version to client 2.0 02-01-2016 Darth Vadar Further information on Death start blueprints added At first I tried to contain all the data into a single multi line field, which works great in Sharepoint, and can be added to Word - however there is a 255 character limit in the document information panel, which means that you can open the file, but you cannot save it back to sharepoint. Does anyone have any good solution to this request please? Our approval workflow is fairly basic, it just goes to a major version and stores a comment from the initiator with date/time stamp
I have a workflow in my task list, and one workflow in principal list, when in the principal list I create a new item, the workflow here start automatically and create a task in the task list, but the workflow in the task list dont start automatically, and this workflow is configured with star when created new item, modified item and manual start. I dont know why??? Fms.
Additional comment: Adding screenshot of message with incorrect date. The date appears correctly on calendar but not in emails. I'm using Start Time and End Time with option to select All day event.I've seen posts for more complex workflows but none that answer the question when a calendar list is being used. I've been using a SharePoint Designer workflow with an InfoPath task form for the past 4 years but needed to get rid of those and am trying to use a simple Nintex workflow. Using a SharePoint form at this point. The client requires All Day Event only with no partial times requested. The client goes to the calendar and uses either add new Event from the tab or clicks +Add on the first date of request, completes and submits the form. I had initially added the date(s) requested to the confirmation back to the requestor but since they are not correct I've removed those. The dates must be available to the manager in the task notification but again, the start date is incorrect in the not
I currently am unable to open my Nintex workflows from the ribbon. It brings me to the page that says "Loading Nintex Workflow for Office 365", but it doesn't get any farther. I've tried with multiple internet browsers with the same result. I received an email at 12:31 AM CDT from Nintex about a partial service disruption. It said workflow and forms could not be opened from the ribbon. I have no problem opening / editing forms, but I cannot open any workflows. It said that the workaround is to revert to the Classic experience; however, this does not work for me either. Are there any other workarounds to edit a workflow? Are there a lot of other people with this same issue?
Have a Nintex form set. Fields are connected to the LIST that sits behind the form, and that data gets saved there just fine. That same form has a repeating section. I noticed that when the form is submitted, the other non-repeating fields information gets saved in the LIST, but not that of the repeating fields. If you edit the LIST record, it will open the form and show you the populated fields in the repeating section as it was inputed. Where is the information entered in the repeated fields stored? I was under the impression that the the data in the repeated fields would also be saved in the same LIST as that of the other fields (ie. the default SharePoint list), but this is not so. Noticed that the fields sitting inside the repeating field area lost their connection information:As soon as you move that control outside the repeating section, the connection re-appears:Why is that the case? What happens once you move that control inside the repeating section? Where does that informat
I have an existing workflow that includes a state machine with 4 branches. In the branch that is the final on the “completed” path (it wasn’t rejected elsewhere in the flow) I wanted to add one more notification, but based on a value in the request. I thought this could be simply done by adding a conditional branch just before Exit State Machine that when True would send the email and then exit. If not true would just exit. The condition is validating against a Lookup field for one value on the list. When I attempt to save or publish I get an error - can anyone help with what I have set up wrong, or provide an alternate suggestion to accomplish this?
I am trying to create a document set using the Create List Item or Document Set option and I receive an error message:The value for Field 'Content Type' with Type 'ContentTypeId' must be specified. I tried setting it directly: via a variable: via lookup: and using site content type id (not list): I publish the workflow every time. I log the Content Type ID before this step and it's always correct. The error message does not change.
Dear All I think the nintex status rss https://status.nintex.com/pages/566925105401bb333d000014/rss doesn't give us the status of each component, but it should give us. Just my opinion.ThanksFrom Peter
Greetings, I am not able to manually kick off the same workflow more than once on an existing item after the workflow has been terminated. Getting error: "Item does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user." when I check the status for more information. Has anyone seen this same behavior? I am able to do with the on-prem Nintex version. Any suggestions or comments is greatly appreciated. Thanks,Tam
In the last week, I have had two different clients report issues with accessing Nintex Workflow and Forms from the modern SharePoint UI for lists and libraries:Several users are experiencing no response when either the Nintex Workflow or Forms button are clicked in the ribbon (no loading, redirect, etc). Is anyone experiencing this issue? Since I'm seeing it in two different tenants I thought this might be widespread but was surprised when I didn't see anything in the community about it. Here's a few details on the issue:The issue isn't impacting all users – only a subset of users The issue is occuring across multiple browsers (Edge, Chrome, etc.) and operating systems (Win10/OSX) Clearing cache, cookies, local/session storage, logging out, and re-starting hasn't resolved the issue I don't see any "out of the norm" client-side errors on-click or when the page loads The issue is unique to the modern UI, both Nintex Workflow and Forms can be accessed from the classic ribbon without issu
