I have a form with a repeating section called "Market", and in that repeating section I have a Choice field with 5 Markets - let's say UK, Fr, Es, De & It - so that the user can enter details in the form for any of those different markets. However, I do not want the user to enter a Market more than once - i.e. the maximum number or repeating sections is 5, where each section is a unique Market. How do I prevent users from creating multiple repeating sections with the same Market?
For a few days we are experiencing intermittent errors in our Nintex Forms in SharePoint Online. Without having made any changes or published new versions, sometimes the Calculated Fields of the forms don't show their value and instead their show: #Value! It seems to be something intermittently, and it happens with different users (included admin accounts), different environments (sites), and we've reproduced it in all the browsers (IE, Edge, Chrome and Safari) but it always happens with the Calculated fields of the Nintex Forms. Also we've detected that, when the calculated fields are not shown (with the #Value! error) all fields and panels that have a Formatting rule are not seeing in the Form. Please, has anyone else had an error similar to this? Thanks!
In Nintex Forms for Office 365, new responsive designer, I have a list lookup where the user selects from a drop-down menu. Depending on what the user selects, I want long text message to display on another part of the form. I used another list lookup control. It uses a variable created by the first list lookup to filter from a list and returns the value of the long text. The problem is that it does not display that text immediately. It displays blank, and the text is available in the drop-down options. I do not want the user to have to select it from the drop-down. I want the long text to display immediately and have no option to select anything else. Any way to fix this? Maybe I can do this a different way, without a list lookup? I will attach a couple screen shots. See how I have to click the dropdown in order to see the long text that I want to display?
I inserted a List Lookup control on my Nintex Form (Office 365) so the user (a manager) can select an employee name & employee ID. The name & ID come from a SharePoint list which includes the manager name (which is how the List Lookup filters to get only the manager's employees) and many other fields like Job Title and Department. The List Lookup has the "Text connected to" set to a list column of single text (call it EmployeeNameAndID). The "ID connected to" is not connected because in this case the ID from that list is meaningless. I want the lookup to populate a lot of fields / list columns, but the control only allows for 1. To get around this, I created 2 "calculated" columns in the SharePoint list that will split the value of EmployeeNameID and results in list columns for EmployeeName and EmployeeID. It works okay, but now I also want Employee Job Title and Employee Department, and maybe more later on. It will start to get complicated trying to put all that into 1 te
I recently developed a workflow to generate a PDF document and send it over to Adobe Sign for signing. It is designed to have a manager sit with an employee and they both fill out the form which generates the document and they have to wait for the workflow to finish and Adobe Sign will send the document to the manager for signing. It works, but it takes 4 to 5 minutes to complete the part between filling out the form and receiving the Adobe Sign email. This is a long time for a manager to sit there with an employee doing nothing. We are looking for ways to reduce this time. Any suggestions? I don't think we can have the manager pre-populate the form and receive the Adobe Sign email before the employee shows up, because we want the employee to fill out a few fields in the form.
In Nintex Workflow for Office 365, in action 'Generate Document' I want to insert date columns into my Word document template. I insert the list column (which is already configured to show 'Date' rather than 'Date and time.') and when the PDF document is generated, it displays the date & time (12:00:00 AM for time). How do I make it display Date only? I tried some 'fn-formateDate' functions that were suggested but those did not translate anything, the words displayed instead of altering the date.
On my Nintex O365 Responsive form I have a "Closing Date" field that is hidden until the radio button is changed from "Opened" to "Closed". At that point I want to force the user to add the closing date before the form can be submitted (or resubmitted). I can't make the field REQUIRED in Sharepoint, because it is hidden on the form, so I'm looking for a validation formula that basically says: (My two fields are STATUS and CLOSING_DATE) IF "Status"=Closed THEN "Closing_Date" (cannot be null or blank??) Thanks!
Hi all,I'm wondering if there is a list of retired Nintex certifications. I can't find the certifications for Certified Solutions Professional - Office 365, Workflow Professional - Office 365 and etc. My colleagues got these certifications a couple of months ago. I couldn't find any updates or info regarding the discontinuation of certifications. Anyone has an idea? Thanks for sharing!
Hi Nintex Community, I am currently struggling with the problem of displaying a Nintex Forms for Office 365 form out of the new responsive form generator in German language. For example, the calendar of a date column still looks like this:The week starts here on Sunday and not on Monday as intended and also the button below shows "Today". The following screenshots show the settings of the form and the associated website:Am I missing an setting? Thanks in advance for your support.
I want to add a List View webpart on an Office 365 Nintex form. I know this control is available only in On-premise. Is there an alternative way to add this feature on an Office 365 Nintex form?! Basically I will have two lists, 1) Master Project list and 2) Change Requests list.. for example. I want the Master Project Form to have a section/tab to reference the Change Requests related to this project. The two lists will be connected via a certain ID/Title. The view of the Change Requests should filter based on the connected ID/Title and also user permissions on the other form. Can this be achieved in any other way? Help!!
I'm working with an Azure function that has an inbound IP whitelist restriction. My Nintex workflow attempts to call the Azure function, but is being blocked.I would like to know the Azure region where Nintex O365 workflows reside. I have already checked the FAQ https://community.nintex.com/t5/How-To-s/Nintex-Online-Services-IP-Addresses-to-Whitelist/ta-p/83587 , which state that Nintex workflows are hosted in Azure. The recommedation on that brief post links to a site where ALL Microsoft servers are listed. If I have an Azure region that Nintex uses, I can at least limit my white list to under a hundred IP addresses. Otherwise, manually entering hundreds of IP addresses appears to be the only option (madness). Thanks in advance.
On classic and "old" responsive forms the entry input for a Numeric field is a number input, for the new responsive it seems that it shows up only as a text entry.
Is there any way of approving a workflow task by editing the current item? We have a system that sends out a lot of tasks to ether multiple people or multiple tasks to one person.or two people. We have found that people will go onto the list, edit and 'close off' items but don't reply to the lazy option on the task email. I could only see an option to approve the task once a date has been reached? Ideally when they flag the item as 'addressed' on the form I would like the workflow to auto approve. Is this possible or not?
Has anyone else noticed problems with their Nintex Forms for Office 365 after the recent errors in SPO that Microsoft acknowledged? We were scheduled to “go live” on 2 new apps that I built in Nintex Forms for Office 365 in the new responsive designer. Everything was working, but then last week our users reported some error messages on SharePoint Online. Microsoft also issued an alert about errors in SharePoint Online and they say they are working to fix it. I tested one of the new apps and I discovered that after I create a new item in Nintex Forms and save & close, then when I go back in to Edit the form it displays a page with a blank window and my only option is the Close button. It could be related to the other Microsoft problems and could be resolved when Microsoft resolves their issues, but I don’t know for sure.
Looking for an idea to validate a column based on values picked within. Right now i have it working so that if the 1st option is picked, a user cannot pick another option. However, if option 1 is not picked, users can pick any variety of the remaning options. my set up repeats this for each of the options =contains([control],"option 1")&&contains([control],"option 2"). This will repeat 20 or so times to capture each option that may be picked with the 1st, and invalidate the conrol if this is done by the user. Ideally, i would like to not hardcode the possible options and only state if option 1 is picked, nothing else can be picked with it but still keep this all in one control. I can provide more information that would be helpful to explain the set up. Thank you in advance for the tips!
Hi allCan anyone please confirm if Synonyms are working in the new Managed metadata control in Office 365 forms? Synonyms are not working for me in the forms. Thanks
No matter what workflow it is the second I add "Azure AD get user details" action to it the workflow becomes corrupted. Even the mini menu for the action wont respond when clicked. Other actions become invisible. It seems there is a javascript error that occurs that I've attached. I believe this javascript error is making the form uneditable.
I am trying to call an Azure Function authenticated via AAD from a Nintex Form via javascript. I have code to call an Azure Function via an API Key but would prefer to use the User's credentials. I have looked at adal.js and msal.js. I have gotten very close to getting it working, but have run into a brick wall in each case. For adal.js, the authentication tries to use an iframe from the Nintex form. This resulted in:'https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/authorize?client_id=<removed>&response_type=token&redirect_uri=<removed>&resource=https%3A%2F%2Fgraph.microsoft.com' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'deny'. Something similar happened with msal.js when using silent authentication. Has anyone tried to do this yet? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, In Nintex Online workflow, where it is fetching item from another list based on filter, the filter condition is not displayed once it is set. If we reopen the action, only the list name and column to be fetched is shown, but not the filter (even if we double click). How to find what filter condition was set like one shown in attached? Thanks,Gubendra
I was able to create them in the classic form using the choice control and custom css in the formatting controls option. But the formatting control option is no longer available for a responsive form and we cant add custom CSS to the forms. How can I then achieve a Tab structure in the responsive form?
I am using O365 and I'm trying to get the Send an Email action working with an unknown amount of documents.Basically we want to attach everything that is in our Request Files area for this item. This could be anywhere from two pdfs to ten and there is no standard naming conventions. I was hoping to either zip them together and use that as the defined attachment or find a way in Send an Email to have it take a list to attach instead of a specific file. Has anyone tried this before?
Doesn't seem to be able to from my testing, but is that a firm fact, it can only email internal USER accounts?
Hi Team, We have a bunch of Nintex workflows configured by end users in SharePoint Online. We want to know actively used workflows. For this, we want to get the last run time of all these workflows in SharePoint site. Please let me know if this option is available either through UI or programmatically? Thanks, Gubendra
Can someone show me an example how to configure the 'Create Item' action in O365 ?I am having an issue with the Path and Name field and don't know what to enter in that field. Thanks
Hi Guys, I am using Assign task on one of my nintex workflow and i am customzing the task form. In that task form, if Assigned to Person not equals to current user we need to hide the label. It is working fine in edit mode but in view mode its not working. I put some alert and it is giving Assigned To as empty. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.
