I need to be able to count the number of attachments in an attachment control. There are a few posts in the forum which refer to a JavaScript solution e.g. https://community.nintex.com/t5/Nintex-for-Office-365/Hi-I-am-trying-to-create-a-form-where-the-minimum-attachment-is/td-p/30888Myself and a colleague have both tried this and cannot get it to work (Classic forms)...I always get a value of zero from the function regardless of the number of attachments. These posts are all over a year old, I am wondering if something changed? Does anyone have a working solution to count the number of attachments in an attachment control on the form?I need to be able to do this on the form, even before the first save...so any workflow based solution or settings on the attachment control based on item properties won't work.
This is a new one for me! Two users can click on and edit the same Nintex Forms at the same time. When the first person saves the form the saves apply to the list, however, when the second person saves the form it overwrites the others changes. These are saves happening within 3 min of each other. User 1 change look like they apply in the list view, however, if the refresh their changes are gone. How can I get the system to only allow one save at a time. In the box forms would show a save conflict error.
Hello.I’m building a “New Responsive Design” form and am having an issue where the Lookup function does not return any value if the “Output Column” is a lookup column.lookup("zzz_Parts","Part Number",toUpper([Form].[PartNumber]),"Buyer")The “Buyer” column is a lookup to the Title field in a list of Buyers. I am able to return values for every other, non-lookup, column in the list. This same function returns the expected “<ID>;#<Value>” when used in the other form designs. This is my first time using this function in a New Responsive Form. Is this a limitation?
Hello, I understand this question has been raised multiple times, but I'm still searching for a clear answer. In New Responsive Forms, repeating sections utilize GUIDs for data storage, unlike the "normal names" used in Classic Forms. Is there a method to transition away from using GUIDs for New Responsive Forms and make it in line with Classic Forms? Please see the sample XML below:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><RepeaterData> <Version>1.0</Version> <Items> <Item> <_eb34b7e7e3e148428d0bd9293b8f05c8 type="System.DateTime">2024-03-06T16:31:00.000Z</_eb34b7e7e3e148428d0bd9293b8f05c8> <_72d8b46e8fde4c4bb59ee79011b5b8c8 type="System.String">Hname</_72d8b46e8fde4c4bb59ee79011b5b8c8> <_fdd297a899cb40cbacb4eaea49b41fc5 type="System.String">123123</_fdd297a899cb40cbacb4eaea49b41fc5> <_6b4e3b9db84a4adf946dd831c4e45c66 type="System.String">213213</_6b4e
Is it possible to make a responsive nintex O365 form into an attachment via workflow?I was asked if a form could be made into an attachment once it has been submitted and attached to an email and sent out automatically…Is this possible? If so, how do you even go about handling this? Thanks in advance!
Hello,Is it possible to query something that sits in an external list from within a nintex forms for O365? Then populate that to a text field? If so, what steps do you take to approach this? Thanks in advance!
Hi! I want to lookup information from a Sharepoint list in Nintex Forms. I am using the ‘List Lookup’ form control. The problem is that I want to filter based on two columns, and it seems that the ‘New Responsive Designer’ only makes it possible to filter on one. Are there some workaround to be able to achieve my objectives?
Hello,I have a form built with Forms O365 (Responsive Forms designer) and at the end of the form, it captures “signatures” of the people who’ve submitted the form and the manager who will then have to approve it.The current date is applied using the dateNow() function for the person submitting which is automatically applied but if the manager decides to approve two weeks later, the same date of the submitter is applied…. any idea why that is?Is it because the workflow is basically paused from the date the person submitted the form and is waiting for the manager to just click approve? If so, how do you go about applying the correct date?Below is what I use to apply the signature + the current date… replace([Form].[Approver],"(^.*?(?=;#);#)","")+" - "+formatDate(dateNow(),"MM/DD/YYYY")
Hi, I am working on onboarding request form. Based on one of the fields selection(choice field), all the fields that are below that field should show/hide.Example: Field - Is exception approved? If the customer select No, then “below fields” should be hidden and “SUBMIT” button should be hidden/disabled. If the customer selects Yes, then below fields and Submit button should not be hidden.Your input/suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks,Nandini

Hello!I am having an extremely difficult time trying to pull a value from an external list to populate a field. I need to pull a value from the “SPS Security Group” column and cannot seem to get that value. The columns in my main form are as such… And the columns from my external list are as such: I need the value from the SPS Security Group column once the Title in the main list equals the title in the external list but not sure if I’m doing this right… I use the below: lookup("My External List Name","Title","Title","SPS Security Group")
Hello,Does anyone know if according to Microsoft's announcement about the withdrawal of workflows 2013, it could affect the operation of my workflows in Nintex Workflow for office 365, my version of sharepoint is SharePoint in Microsoft 365.
I’ve seen many posts in the community about the lack of ability to apply more than one filter/condition on the list lookup control. Specifically, in the New Responsive Design forms.A request was added to the Nintex Ideas site. Please vote to help push for this feature upgrade. As shown here, we are limited by one condition.
Will there be any problem to our Nintex Form if we go ahead and publish a Power App SharePoint Integration on the same SharePoint list?
hi, My understanding is any site collection admin for SharePoint online site, can add and use Nintex Form/Workflow for M365 from SharePoint online store. Wonder if there is a way to manage that, only permitted sites and users can use Nintex? This issue is important to us, as it will help us to manage the usage, support and governance. thanks,Jun
Hi,I have the following scenario: I have four lookup fields from a Nintex form. "System", "Area", "Function" and "Data Set". These fields lookup the SharePoint list "Master Data" with the same field names.I want to ensure a multi-level cascading in my form so that only the relevant "Areas", "Functions" and Data Sets are available for selection depending on all previously selected Dropdown values.Master Data ListPlease note:- not every "System" contains all "Areas"- A "function" can only be present in one "area" but in different "systems"- A "dataset" can be assigned to several "functions" but only for certain "systems"Example: - if I select "System" P02, I only want to see "Controlling" and "Finance" in the "Area" field- Then, if I select Controlling, I should only see "Corporate Controller" in the Function field- And finally only Dataset 1Unfortunately, the Nintex default setting of the lookup values does not help me any further, as I can only select a single lookup condition.Do you h
Hi Grateful if someone can please assist with this query.I have a series of Nintex forms which have recently been reviewed apart of an accessibility assessment. A piece of feedback received is ‘The default language for each Nintex form has not been defined in the code. A screen reader uses the lang tag to identify the language of the page and use the correct speech synthesis to read the text’My question is can you specifically define the language in the code of Nintex Forms for Office 365?If so, please state how to achieve this? Thanks in advance for any advice on this subject.
I have 4 different “total” fields, which are calculating correctly, doing a multiplication when values are entered. Transportation Costs Total Cost of Hotel Total Cost Per Deim Total Cost of MealsI’d like for the grand total field, “Total Cost of Travel” to be updated in real-time. The problem I’m having is that unless the user inputs a value in every field, even a 0, it won’t work. I’ve also tried to set a default value of 0 in each field, but it still only calcs if every field is inputted. The only work around I’ve found is to make all the fields required so that the user is forced to input something, even a 0, in every field. But I’d prefer not to make these required fields unless I have to. So in this example below, there are no food or hotel costs, but there is a “Transportation Cost”, which is picked up from a previous page in the form. So the total at this time for “Total Cost of Travel” should also be $10. But I can’t get that $10 to show up in the total field unless I put 0 i
Hello,I am using O365 nintex forms and O365 nintex workflows. I need to change permissions per form that is submitted but based on a selection in my form (which in turns becomes the title in the SP list) but after the form is submitted. I see there is a control “Office 365 update item permission” but confused how to setup once I approach the items to update and the rest after that…I want to:1.) strip rights from item that was inherited from parent site after submission2.) apply the person whom created/submitted the form access as well as a handful of other users access Could someone help me on how to even approach this? I don’t know where to begin and steps to handle this is greatly appreciated! Note: I’ve tried going off of existing posts on this forum but a lot of the images are not available and makes it a bit difficult to grasp when trying to follow step by step.

Also connected the Action Panel to a Text field called “Form Status” in the listWhen the user clicks on “Save as Draft” the form status will get saved as “Draft” in the list. When the user clicks on “Submit” the form status will get saved as “Submit” in the list.Requirement: I want to disable the “Save as Draft” button ones the form status in list is “Submit” or ones the form has been submitted. Is there any way to achieve this?
Hi, I have added the nintex office 365 app in my sharepoint online site. But while I open the app from a list in the site, the O365 Directly takes me to my Automation cloud tenant and I do not get the option to create list workflows. Subsequently, when i open from site content then although I can access the O365 app designer but while creating the workflow I do not getting the ‘start workflow’ option in the settings tab. I was following the installation procedure from help.nintex.
HiI’m looking for a way to alter the formatting of the choice list column control so that each choice starts on the same line as its tick box.At the moment, if an option is longer than one line, the text starts from below the tick box.I can’t make the options shorter, nor can I make the form wider.Currently using Nintex Forms for Office 365.
Last week our workflow task were named based Nintex Task title: Current Item: Grant Number - Current Item: output type - current item: title. The task name was opening the Nintex workflow.Since yesterday, the title changed to the ID number and when we click on it, it download a file with the number of the item (####_.000) .Does anyone else have this issue and what have you done to resolve it?
All,Hello! I am in a dilemma and do not know where to begin to start security trimming items that are created. I am using Workflow for Office 365 & New Responsive Forms designer for Office 365.I think I should be able to use audience targeting for this situation but not sure… So! Anytime a form is submitted I need to allow certain users to view certain items so for instance.Example:Winna Baego is a reviewer and needs to view ONLY AED, AOA and BEE books...all others need to remain hidden.1.) User submits form and based on selection of books (only one set of books can be selected) they choose either permissions will change or audience group gets assigned once the form is submitted. Unsure how to approach this... 2.) After the form is submitted certain users or group should only be able to see the said set of books as explained in the beginning. I have these settings in place for the list itself and not sure if its currently affecting it at the moment…Advanced settings for SharePoint
