I have a form with fields that should be read only once a button is clicked. Using rules, I was able to make this work by disabling the fields, but it came up today that hyperlinks in link fields aren't usable. Is it possible to somehow make this read only and still have the link work?
Dear Community,  I have to create a form with a drop-down list based on another drop-down list, for example:  - Field A: Option A1 = Type; Option A2 = Color; Option A3 = Size And then, based on the option of Field A, the follow: - Field B (if Option A1 was selected): Option B1 = Car; Option B2 = Motorcycle. - Field B (if Option A2 was selected): Option B1 = White; Option B2 = Black; Option B3 = Red. - Field B (if Option A3 was selected): Option B1 = Large; Option B2 = Small; Option B3 = Medium.  Please could you help me? Thanks in advance.  Regards, Rafael.
I'm working with a very simple test WF to try and resolve an issue with the workflow action 'Office 365 update items' which is generating the error 'Unable to find list item to update. Here's a picture of the target list:That image shows a field called 'Reference' (single line of text) which has unique values. One of those values is 'GR-49'. So in the test workflow, I have the action 'Office 365 update items' set as per the image below:So for testing I trigger this worklow manually of a 2nd list on the same site. I have Full Control permissions on the site and both lists. In the Items to update section I have tried setting the control to 'contains', 'is equal to' and 'begins with', all fail with the same error - and I can't see why. Here's the kicker: If change the Items to update values to:Update the items when column: ID is equal to 41 - then the action works.  So is there something wrong with the way I've configured this action, or is this a bug?
Hi in Nintex 2010 to start a List workflow from a Site Workflow we used Call Web Service, but now In Nintex O365Â with the action Start Workflow , you cannot specifify the List Name, only the workflow name. Which is the best way to call a List Workflow from a Site Workflow in O365?.Â

Hi I have a currency column in sharepoint. During workflow i place this value into html which I use in an email notification. It displays in the email with no dollar sign and no commas. e.g. I expect $1,345.67 and get 1345.67  Why is the formatting missing?
I have two workflows in a SPO list and part of one of the looping workflows it checks to see if the other workflow is already running. I have varWorkflowStatus - Dictionary, then 'Get an Item from Dictionary' action, Key was "Description" then output was varWorkflowStatus2 - Text, then have a "Conditional Branch" action if varWorkflowStatus2 equals 'Started' then "Terminate workflow" but it isn't pulling anything back, I've checked the history logging and all it says (") without brackets. So it always thinks it's not running. This workflow is 2 years old so not sure if there's a new way of doing this now? Â
Hello, I have a checkbox as a mandatory field. This should be hidden if "xss" is selected in a previous checkbox (see attachment). However, since it is a required field, the form is not sent. How can I disable and hide the checkbox at the same time? If I hide it, he doesn't send it off and when I disable it it says it's like it's a mandatory field and the user is confused Thanks!
I am struggling with how to work with the XML generated by a repeating section. Here is the background info: Nintex for Office 365 I have a form that a Hiring Manager uses to request permissions to SharePoint Sites for their new hires. The form has a repeating section on it. In the repeating section are three fields: two list look-up fields that cascade option field for selecting permission level. The first list lookup is a dropdown of site collections and the second list lookup is a multi-select field showing the Site Names for the selected site collection. I got all cascading working just fine. I also have the repeating section XML saving to the list column just fine and am capturing the values of the lookup lists, not just their IDs. When the Hiring Manager form is submitted, a workflow creates a new item in the IT on-boarding list populating simple fields like User name, department, supervisor, etc. from the Hiring Manager list. That all works. What I want to be able to do is get th
I am trying to use "exchange online update calendar item" to update an item I've previously created when the item is changed. When I create the initial item, I store the exchange item ID in a field in my list. When I need to update, I use that ID to get the correct item to update.Easy so far... However, if the user has deleted the item in their calendar but not in the list, the ID has no match and the workflow suspends. The last line of the settings for update calendar is the option, "Update Successful" which outputs a boolean yes / no. When the update is successful, this works. Now to my problem/question, when the update does not occur, the "Update Successful" output never occurs. I was going to use a "No" value trigger a "Run If" to let the user know the calendar was not updated, but since it suspends the workflow without generating it, it doesn't work and the user gets no notification that the change was not successful.I've been wracking my brain for the simplest way to check if an
I have a form with multiple groups that contain lots of fields. The groups are show/hide based on a parent checkbox being selected. I want to reset all fields within a group if the parent gets unchecked.  Let's say in this scenario: User checks the "soda" checkbox which reveals three grouped fields related to soda. In one of those sub-fields, the user chooses "Coke". Then the user unchecks the "soda" checkbox.   When they submit the form, "Coke" is still an entry. I want all the fields in the group to be reset to the default when the parent is unchecked (hopefully without having to write the rule to reset each field manually).

I created a new responsive design nintex form and am using list lookup (Sharepoint Online) as a cascading dropdown. The data is stored in sharepoint list in single line text field. The data is connected as text to connect to. The selection works on new form. When I open the form (display/edit) the data does not display. I can see the data in list.
Version: Nintex Forms for Office 365 and Nintex Workflow for Office 365List: One master and three children listRequirement: Generating 400 pages document by filling in place holder on the word document with data from the list informationIssue: There are good no of dropdowns on the form which takes one variable for every option on the dropdown (choice type) to be used on the PDF generation, for example an dropdown have choices one to ten, then on the document those choices would appear as ten checkboxes from checkbox one to checkbox tenIf checkbox five is selected, then we could store the value 'X' on the variableFive to show its selected and rest of the variables would be blankChoice one [ ] ,variableOne - ''Choice Two [ ] ,variableTwo - ''Choice Three [ ] ,variableThree - ''Choice Four [ ] ,variableFour - ''Choice Five [X] ,variableFive - 'X'Choice Six [ ] ,variableSix - ''Choice Seven [ ] ,variableSeven - ''Choice Eight [ ] ,variableEight - ''Choice Nine [ ] ,variableNine - ''Choice
Hi,I have a Nintex Form attached to a SharePoint Online List, everything working fine adding and editing items on the form, but suddenly the edit stopped working for all users except for the form creator, i have checked all permissions for the users and the group that can edit items has full control permissions. does anyone have an idea about what could be causing this error the error is access denied error, image attached, Thanks Â
Do parallel actions and Switch statements come under the limited action for cloud, for the workflows that are free?Â
I am using New Responsive Designer and I have a variable with a lookup function that is looking in another list for a value: lookup("Staff List","Initials",[SharePoint Columns].[PSC Initials],"Credentials") When I have a person in my "Staff List" with "initials" but do not have "Credentials" (the field is empty), the form does not want to save. When I click on the button "Save", nothing happens. I do not have any error message. It just does not want to save what I entered in the form. If the variable with the lookup function return a value, the form saves with no problem. I try to test what was returning when there is no "Credentials" with the function isNullOrEmpty(), but it does not work when there is no "Credentials". It is false if "Credental" has value. What should I do so that my form saves value if the value from a lookup variable does not return a value? Thanks, James

I have a calculated field in SharePoint that is set to have zero decimals. I have a workflow with a docgen action that uses that field. The export always shows a large number of decimals. Is there any way to force the round? I saw one post that said you can format the fields in the tagger, but I can't figure out how to do that. Example: SharePoint lists calculates as 30, the PDF shows 30.0000000034925

Hello, I am new to nintex workflows. I need to build a workflow where a user submits a form and this form goes to 1 of three teams(Network, IT or HR) according to the values entered in the form and the team that receives the form has the option to approve the request or return the form back to the initiator to review and edit it. If the team approves the request, the workflow has to be terminated. While the team returns the request, it goes back to the initiator to edit the form and send it back to the team who returned it to approve it again. I built the workflow using state machines as shown in the attached figure but I am finding difficulty to make sure the 3 states of the 3 teams are visited and to send back the request to the team who returned it in the return state. I am looking forward to your help. Thank you in advance
I have a client that is migrating from SharePoint on-premises to SharePoint 365. With the move, they will be implementing Nintex Workflows and Forms for Office 365. Their current model only gives employees a maximum of Design permissions in SharePoint, and they require at least two different people in this role for oversight. Before a site is created, a workflow runs that gets approval of the need for a new site. Before an employee can be allowed design permissions, they must attend some basic SharePoint training. Only people who attended training can be selected from a designated group to be listed on the form in the workflow and granted design permissions on sites. This is all automated through a workflow and provides a good balance of oversight. Moving to SharePoint 365, they want to do away with this model. When they migrate to SharePoint 365 anyone will be able to create a site and will be given site owner permissions. There will be no requirement of training, and the need to have
