I have a multiple line text field in sharepoint list, its value is very long. I was trying to copy the first 50 letters from the multiple line field into a single line text field.I created a simple workflow and have an action called Set Field in Current Item and it just doesn't work. It never pass that action. Any idea on this issue. Thank you in advance. Alex
Say I have a simple Nintex workflow approval which create a new task to myself. When I open Nintex Mobile I cannot see that workflow task in the "Tasks" tab, admittedly this is because the Workflow Tasks content type has not been customised with Nintex Forms with a Mobile Layout, however I cannot customise it because the content type is read-only (as editable by the workflow, not within the workflow tasks list. How can I make my workflows truly mobile using the app then? thanks for any suggestions.
We have an approval process for content syndication that I'm working on right now. The "Assign a Task" feature seemed to be the easiest way to go through the linear approval process. It really is working great except for one small-ish hangup: the tasks that are generated are going to a task list that they shouldn't be. How do I find and move these tasks automatically? I've seen a few posts that reference using a "Query List" part, but I don't have the fields available to me that they do. I have also seen people reference creating/instantiating a "Nintex Workflow Task List" which would probably be fine, but once I create said list, how do I force the tasks there? Thanks in advance!-Courtney
They aren't available to drag onto the form canvas and when I place them in a Calculated Value, nothing displays. Can you help?
Can you add attachments from a document library to emails sent via Nintex Workflow 365?
I have migrated a SharePoint Online Site Collection (Test site) using ShareGate (without Nintex migration feature) to a fresh Site Collection in the same tenant.SOURCE: customer.sharepoint.com/sites/SiteCollectionTEST/ => DESTINATION: customer.sharepoint.com/sites/SiteCollectionPROD/ The first time I migrated the site by accident to a subsite: https://customer.sharepoint.com/sites/SiteCollectionPROD/SiteI then restarted the migration and picked the right destination: https://customer.sharepoint.com/sites/SiteCollectionPRODAfter a succesful migration I deleted the original subsite. I then opened the Workflow designer (on the List in new production site) and imported the workflow as a File.Saving the workflow works fine, but when I publish the Workflow I get an error: Error publishing workflow. Er is een dubbel inhoudstype Nintex Task Outcome Content Type gevonden. This is partly Dutch, It says 'there is a double Content Type found" When I create a fresh workflow (and add a Task Acti
Anyone got any tips or advice for formatting a Nintex Mobile form. It seems no level of CSS works, and all I can really do is make the text bold or italicized. Cant change the size, color, etc either with CSS or the controls in the designer. It LOOKS right in the designer, but it is always reverted to black standard sized text when published.
The version history of a multi line text box enabled to append changes displays nothing on the Nintex form. Versioning is also enabled all default control settings are used.
Guys, I've got a question regarding Nintex Workflows for Office 365. Is there any way to start workflows on certain content types like on the On Prem version?Rather then publishing a workflow on 20 libraries (having 20 seperate, non centralized workflows that should be managed individually ) we are looking for a solution to get it run on certain content types.Any other ideas? Thanks in advance, Glenda
Hi - We have a Help desk ticketing system. It will be useful for users to see the ID of the item which happens to be the Help desk ticket ID, on the form itself. I don't see ID as a field available for drag and drop from the wizard. Can we have ID to display on the form ?
Hi, So, we've got a monster of a workflow which sends the form through different departments, collecting input and attachments as it goes. Two questions have arisen: 1. Firstly, can we attach a document from SharePoint directly? I couldn't work out how, but it's possible I'm overlooking something really simple.2. Can documents attached to a form be copied into different document library? For example - attachment A goes to document library A, and attachment B goes to document library B. Any help is appreciated

Will the WordPress action post to my own WordPress installation hosted at my ISP or will it only post to wordpress.com?
Previously I used Exchange Online Create Calendar Item actions in workflow. Going to build a new one today I noticed that action is no longer available? Has this feature been deprecated?
I'm using Nintex Workflow for O365. I'm trying to copy items from List A to List B. However, it looks like the field type "multiple lines of text" is not supported. Standard text fields copy just fine but my list uses a few multi line fields. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.Â
I am trying to figure out a way to track a meeting request's (generated through workflow) response. I have a form that generates a meeting request, and then a loop that retrieves calendar items within a date range, and creates a variable with the meeting response and logs it back to the item but it doesn't seem to work.  Is this the correct approach? It would be nice to be able to query for the status of a single calendar item based on it's ID vs. all calendar items. Any guidance would be appreciated.
So am working on a business card request system and want to generate a preview for users who submit their requests. I would like to get the value from form items display in the sections of the business card shown below. In InfoPath I would go about doing this with 'Set value for field' action on the controls where I want values from. I am creating a panel in the form and added some image and text in it on the left side. Its the dynamic employee name, department and address that I would need to generate the complete preview.I tried dragging and dropping the controls again and it obviously didn't work for me(I wonder why! )So reaching out! Thanks in advance!!-SwethaEmily Billing This is what I was curious about. I figured I could ask a clearer question(?!?) with picture instead of my vague,'hey I want this in that so how do I go about getting that for this'!  And, Nintex for O365 rocks! burkslm -Swetha
Can create a site workflow with Nintex workflow designer office 365? Thank you! Alex
Hopefully a simple question, is there a way to edit or change a reference (like a workflow variable lookup, or a list item lookup) - the red text - after you have added it to the screen? Or do you have to recreate it from scratch each time?
Hi everyone, Currently I have a Helpdesk Jobs list and a Resources list (sites and contacts etc). These lists are on the same site /STW/Helpdesk.From the Helpdesk form there is a Nintex look up field to sites on the resource list. With JavaScript 'client context', I populate certain fields on the form once this lookup changes:- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -code example:NWF$(document).ready(function(){var lookup = NWF$("#" + CallerLookUp); NWF$("#" + CallerLookUp).change(function(){     var web = clientContext.get_web();        var oList = clientContext.get_web().get_lists().getByTitle("Contacts");     var listItem = oList.getItemById(this.value);        clientContext.load(listItem, "Name", "EmailAddress");       clientContext.executeQueryAsync(function(){var CalNam = NWF$("#" + CallerName);var CalNam = NWF$("#" + CallerEmail);CalNam.val(listItem.get_item('Name'));CalNam.val(listItem.get_item('EmailAddress'));},function(){ });  }); });- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Are there any gotcha's or things to worry about with the Pause Until Date action, especially when applied to lots of line items, and long duration (e.g. 12 to 18 months)? I'd like to start using them with lots of major processes, mainly as email reminders 30 days before expiration dates, but trying to gauge the reliability before I do so.
Is there a limit to the number of branches that can be added to a Switch action in O365 workflows?
Hi, We have a form with a strange request - it can be completed on behalf of a user, but a user cannot complete it themselves. So, I was trying to disable sections of the form if Current User == NamedField. That formula doesn't work, so if there is another way to do it, please let me know  We're using Nintex forms/workflow for 365 and SharePoint Online.
Hi, I'm using Nintex Forms and Workflow on Office 365. I have a Document Library where I have created a bunch of new Document Content Types, examples includes "Custom Folder", "My Word Document", "My Excel Document".The Document Content Types also has metadata included (eg. Title (default), and Industries). I am trying to create a Nintex Workflow that will check if a new item is created based on the "Custom Folder", if it is, then I want the workflow to create a bunch of sub folders within the Custom Folder. I have done some searches online, but all lead to an action called "Create Item", but what is only available to me is "Create list Item", which has a different set up than "Create item". So the question is, how can I automatically create sub folders under the parent Custom Folder? and then also set the metadata to inherit from the parent?
