I am trying to use a calculated date/time variable to update a start and end time of a calendar item through workflow. I've logged the output of the calculated date and time (from the add time to date action) and it seems to follow the standard SharePoint Date Model: 8/5/2015 8:00:00 AM This format does not update the calendar item start time however, whose format I assume is: 8/5/2015 8:00 I've used a replace string action to remove the trailing ":00 AM" but that also does not seem to work. Is anyone familiar with the correct format for updating start/end times on Calendar Items for Exchange Online?
Is it possible to use both form solutions side by side? In my scenario I would like to use Nintex for mobile scenarios but Infopath for desktop usage scenarios where some functionality such as list filtering is more advanced.

HI everybody, I find a very strange bug with Nintex workflow on office 365.I have one list that has 3 workflows associated with it, 2 of them start manually (WF A and WF B)and one start automatically when I create an item (WF C)When I create an item, the workflow C starts, and inside the WF C, I start WF A which is a 3 step approval workflow. I start the WF A on the same list item. Here is the bug:- When I create an item, and I set on my workflow C "Start Workflow A" configuration, the username and pwd to my user; then the Workflow A is started and everything works well - I pass the ID of the current item in the Start Workflow Action- HOWEVER, when I create an item and I set on my workflow C "start workflow A" configuration, the username and pwd to another admin account (site collection admin and site owner), then when the workflow A is started, it gets stopped and I see on the log of the workflow A history the following error: I tried to copy paste the link on the history log (ITem 56
Hi All, In one of our applications I need to user O365 activities. As we are aware they require user name & password to be configured. we are planning to get a dedicated service account to use for this purpose. .1. can we configure the workflow to use the current login users account & pwd?2. I am thinking to have a configuration list to store the service account user name & pwd. Is this the right approach?

Hi all, The notification emails whether it is from the workflow or SharePoint is sent by the system. In our organization there is a general tendency to avoid emails from the system. Currently I am developing a workflow application where the manager approves a form and an emails will be sent to his subordinates. This email however send by the system " no-reply@sharepointonline.com". we would like to know if there are any mechanism where we can make use of nintex workflow  force managers email id as from. I cant see "From" in Sent email action in office, But at the same time i can see this feature is available in nintex for sharepoint 2013 Send notification   RegardsKannan
I'm trying to rebuild a site workflow in SharePoint Online based on a workflow I created in an On Premise site. What I want to do. I have a library of document that need to be reviewed before a date that is set in site column (Review Date). So normally I created variable with a calculated date (Today+ 3 months) so we can start the review proces 3 months before the Reviewdate. My first issue is that I can't calculate the date. I was hoping to solve this within the query I use to filter the document but I'm stuck there. Anyone an idea how to solve this?

Hi, My question is around a simple request from the business. We have production resources, processes, and lines.I have created lists for all and when I am now trying to create a form for them to use to create a Resource plan I am struggling to work out how to populate data in a repeating section automatically when they select a production line.An example would be: Line 431 has 7 processes, Line 410 has 6 processes. The user has the lines in a dropdown on the form and I need to populate a repeating section with the 7 or 6 processes from the processes list when they select it. {showing a mock up below} Firstly, is this possible using standard Nintex forms? Please advise on this.Secondly, if not does anyone know of a solution for me possibly? Thanks,Paul
We are using these 2 actions on our workflow - Office 365 Create List Item or document set and Office 365 update item permissions. We have been getting unable to obtain security token, authentication failed error. Have anyone experience this issue? I have attached a screenshot of the workflow and error on the attachment. Any help will be helpful.
Dear all,    I am using Nintex Office 365 WF and Forms to develop workflows. My question is I am trying to develop a task form for approver where he could modify/override some of the fields filled by initiator and also I am introducing some new fields which can be updated by approver and information would be saved in original list item.  I am currently testing this functionality by creating single step approval WF. I have checked "visible" and "enabled" textbox and published the WF. But I am not able to modify fields excepts fields associated with Task list ( comments;outcome). Can you please provide some pointers to work on.Thanks,Rahul
With InspireX 2017 right around the corner, will there be any new features added to Nintex Office 365? Can we expect a new release of Office 365 workflow and forms? Last release was more than 6 months ago. (July 2016)Will Nintex make any announcements in regards to Office 365 at InspireX?
Hello, I need to export workflow across tenants, so I was testing with a sample from Nintex DEMO site.I was able to import List, Form, Workflow into my site successfully, but Email notification was sent from reply@workflownotification.com.My site 'sent from' address is something different (no-reply@sharepointonline.com), but I couldn't find where to re-configure this. Am I expecting this behavior when I export workflow from my site to customer's site, or is this email address Nintex DEMO site specific? Kind regards,-Naoko Â

Hi, I am looking to have a field or 2 on a form for internal and external contacts, and then those specified people will be included as CC's in an email notification. Is this possible? I have been able to do this for internal users with a people picker but what about external people? Thanks,Jesse
I have a search page which is returning results from a list with a Nintex form. When the user opens an item from the search results and then closes it, she is returned to the default view of the list or whatever is specified in the Redirect URL layout setting. Is there a way to make Nintex return to the search results page? (except from introducing a close-button which navigates back in the browser)
Recently, I've started receiving reports from a small subset of users that they're unable to access a recently released Nintex form. These reports came from four different users, which is a very small sample size of the total number of users in the system. Naturally, it's totally possible that there are more users experiencing the issue who just haven't complained. I do know that there are a number of users who have no issues accessing the form. When these users attempt to create a new list item or edit an existing one, instead of being redirected to the Nintex Form, they're taken to a HTTP 404 page, shown below.  The first three all belonged to the same SharePoint security group, so I assumed I had just failed to give them permission to access the list. After checking, however, I saw that these three users had 'Contribute' permissions at the site collection level. I've been emailing with one of these users and have confirmed that she can see the list that the form is associated with.
Hi All, I have UAT with customer about Nintex workflow. The State Machine workflows works for their business process.State machine has 4 states. Account Manage (AM) (Initiator – fills the form) and submit to Site Program Manager (SPM) for approval. SPM verifies the AM’s form, enter his comments and submit to Project Manager (PM) for further Approval. This workflow works. However, customer felt that there are many steps for any approval steps when I showed the out of the box approval Nintex workflow. Following is the current step by step:     Current process: AM gets email notification (Send Email Action) that he received ticket is pending for approval from SPM and SPM gets an email for approval as follows: The first 1st link is the link SharePoint task title and 2nd part the workflow task link:3rd is the Related Item with 4th associated List link for that specific ID. Site program manager clicks on the Related item as shown:  As it’s a Display Form, SPM has to click on Edit item  SPM
So, since the Attachments in Nintex Forms try to download rather than open in Office Online, and that doesn't appear to be fixable/customizable, I'm working on a workaround. Leveraging both this SlideShare from Alan Richards and this great blogpost:   I am able to successfully generate a link to the attachment which opens in Office Online Apps! Great! But now, they're ugly on the form. If I try to set them into a "Hyperlink" field, I can't set the "display text" and I'd have to have enough link fields for each attachment which, depending on how many, could be a really ugly and terrible deal. If I set them into a text field of any type (rich or not) it just puts the link, not clickable, and again, I have no way to make it pretty. I tried to mess with the Calculated Field to see if I could get something going, but couldn't quite get there. Any tips or suggestions?Â
I'd like to present a hyperlink, button, or IFrame for the related document of a workflow task on the form. I've got an Office 365 document library with a Nintex Workflow defined. It's very simple with a single Assign Task action. I've customized that task form and would like to include a link to download the related document or embed the Office 365 web preview of it within the form itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
For Office 365 Action Items, Username and Password are a require fields.    Can you please tell me what is the best way to handle the ID and PW?   Any suggestions? Â
The title pretty much says it all. What is the difference between the "Office 365 Query List" and the standard "Query List" actions in Nintex Workflows for Office 365.
