Hi all, this might be an internal issue on my side but I wanted to ask it just in case.I have seen the new Document Generation option and was trying it out but when it comes to the tagging part I get a message that my admin has blocked add-ins from the Office store. I am confused as the previous version worked fine and we currently have document tagging into a word document in Production use. Any help is very much appreciated. Regards,Paul
Can you tell me if usernames and password are transmitted in clear text when actions such as the "Start Workflow" and all the Office 365 actions execute?  I don't quite understand the notes in the documentation when it is mentioned that start workflow may not be bounded by the tenant.  Perhaps someone can provide some clarification: Taken from: http://help.nintex.com/en-US/o365/#o365/O365WorkFlow/WorkflowActions-STD/StartWorkflow.htm  "This action is not fully bounded by your Office 365 tenancy. It either calls outside of the tenant or executes on servers potentially running outside your region. Before implementing, consider performance and regional concerns where digital boundaries are an issue." Thanks!
How do I get just the number out of a text variable? I am getting {"Id":25,"ID":25} out of the text variable, and I just need the 25.When I try to use "Convert Value" to go from text to a number variable, I am getting "Input string was not in a correct format." error.
#'System.Activities.InArgument`1[System.Double]' to type 'System.Activities.InArgument`1[System.String]'.I've attached an Error Message that I get when trying to save my Workflow. Does anyone else have this error?
Hi All; Is there a way to query a list and send all Items output by email (one email with all items)? I have tried to put the output into a collection variable and send it by email, but the result is not good for me, i can not manage this output.i got something like :[{"Title":"server1","WarrantyExpirationDate":"2017-05-20T04:00:00Z"},{"Title":"server2","WarrantyExpirationDate":"2017-06-03T04:00:00Z"}] any idea how i can get the output like :server name | Warranty expiration date or if i can put the result into a document using document generation ! i don't know how to loop into a document generation action so i can get all items ! any how-to ? Thank you in advance.
I want to use the BCC, FROM fields in an email action like being used in Nintex On-Premise. Is this also possible in Nintex for Office 365 ? If not possible, are there any other tricks possible ? ThanksJaap
Hi I am relatively new to Nintex for O365 and I am trying to create a reminder workflow on a document library for company licences. When the user uploads a document, there is a mandatory field called renewal date. I want the workflow to send a reminder based on that date so the field is set to mandatory. 30 days prior to the renewal date it will send an email to a group of people to renew the licence then upload the new version of it. When uploading the new version, they will then set the next renewal date and it will start again. I have set it for the workflow to start when created but the workflow fails as it starts once the file is created and not checked in. How can I make the workflow wait until the user has input the field and checked in the file to start the workflow? I was then going to have another workflow to start on modified to check to see if the other workflow was running and the renewal date had changed. If it was, then terminate that workflow and start the initial one a
All,  I am facing a peculiar problem. I have a state machine workflow. For two specific states task outcome is set as "completed" and "canceled". I could see these value at "preview" but not on actually form after publishing the workflow. It is showing default "approved" and "rejected" outcome. I am using Nintex o365.  Is there a way to resolve this issue. Please advise. Thanks,Rahul
I have a list lookup form control that is looks up a string in another form based on whether the User entered into the form is the same as the User in the lookup list. This control works GREAT in New Mode and in Display Mode (it shows up as a hyperlink of the string, linked to the other List). However, in Edit Mode it displays the User but NO lookup value, and if you re-enter the User OR a new User, nothing displays! I am very frustrated and have spent a lot of time trying to figure this one out. Here is a screenshot of the lookup settings:And one of how it fails in Edit Mode:Help?
I would very much appreciate any help, I have been working on this for weeks but can only find online examples for sharepoint 2010. It doesn't help that I am not familiar with building collections. I currently have a workflow running on each list item when it is created or modified. If the item isn't updated within a certain timeframe, the workflow starts sending the user listed in one of the columns a weekly reminder with a link to the item. I am trying to build a site workflow for my sharepoint site that would send a single reminder to each user if they have overdue items, but have been unsuccessful. If that email listed the overdue items with hyperlinks as it currently does for the single item, even better. The issue is that previously users would only get a few emails, but now we have users that would have upwards of 50 items and that is a LOT of emails. I have attached the list workflow that I have been using successfully.
I have setup a shift change log and would like to pull in previous issues from the last shift into an "existing issues" field then have a status on them. I saw something in the workflow online but when I went to find it in Nintex Workflow for SharePoint 2013 it wasn't there. Is there an easy way to pull this in when the form loads?
s there a way to send a form view via email without coding it? I have list lookups that I would like to show on our shift change log but can't find an easy way to just send the current view like I used to with InfoPath. I have a form that looks up views from another SharePoint list to show issues communicating and also some repeating sections for ongoing issues. Some of these will not easily transfer over to the Nintex workflow I have setup. I am not a developer, I have dabbled in some of the functions but am not a JavaScript coder or HTML guy.
Hi,I've noticed strange thing - when I put "Start a Task Process" in a loop (n-times), participants got n-emails with Task Assigned notification and n-1 emails with Task Canceled notification.Settings for "Start a task process" are:-"Assignment Behavior" set  to "parallel (all at once)"-"Assign a task to each member within groups" checked-"Wait for task completion" unchecked-no reminders Example: I've got loop with 2 iterations (razy, dwazy) and I received 3 email - 2 with task notification (for "razy" and "dwazy" task) and 1 with task canceletion (for "razy" task). Obviously task "razy" is canceled/deleted (no item on Workflow tasks list). Any ideas?
Hi,I've got a "Assing A Task" action with "Escalate or auto-complete" option set to "Escalate to person or group":Any reminders are off.Unfortunately this doesn't work (no emails, no tasks on Workflow Task List). Any ideas?Â
Hi All,  Customer is asking to maximize Workflow history limit from 60 days to 1 year.I have checked through Nintex forums and I got the following Task List Only Displays Task History of the Last 60 Days - Nintex Knowledge Base   But above link is okay with SharePoint On-prem environment.  I also searched this blog post  Recovering Workflow History after 60 days   Q: Which Settings should I change for SharePoint Online for Workflows? Thanks in advance.Â
I know I could partially achieve it with the IncludePicture Field Quick part ( {{ INCLUDEPICTURE  }} ) but this requires the user to open the document then select the whole table then hit F9 to get the pictures loaded properly. Not really ideal if there is an additional step for users. Anyone have any great ideas on how to add images into a word template table using the Document Generation action in Nintex Workflow for O365 without needed the user's intervention?
We have a use case to pull in a lookup from another list where a field on that list contains a field of this list. That sounds confusing, so let me elaborate. We have a list called "Minutes." On that list, there is a multi-select lookup where you pick from a list of "Requests" to indicate which requests were discussed in this meeting. We then want to surface any meeting minutes relevant to this Request on the form of that request. How can I accomplish this cleanly?
Hi, In InfoPath I used to work with action rule to set field values. I started working with Nintex forms and I can only see Formatting and validation rules. is it a separate function in nintex. I am using trial version and I would think it is a full version and not standard. is this feature available in nintex ?, if so can some one guide me ? RegardsKannan
Happy New Year Everyone!!! I have been searching for this solution I can't find anything and if anyone knows how to resolve this I would appreciate an answer.I have created a site collection on SharePoint Online and I have Nintex Workflows activated on it and all is well. I have also configured document sets under my default library as I need to share content with external users. All the settings for sharing with external users have been done and it all works. My challenge is I want to automatically invite a user to collaborate with us based on an email field which is completed when a person creates the document sets. Manually this is easy but I want to automatically invite an external user as soon as their email address is in the field and give them specific access to that specific document set that has that user. What action can I use to invite users? Basically how I have set this up is I have a SharePoint group for my external users which have basic read access at the top level, so wh
Hey , I need the telephone number of the initiater of the workflow (who is an employee in the company ) be filled automatically in a sharepoint list . I have tried Office 365 Query User Profile action but it seems there is no way to return the tel. num. property, any tips?
So, Nintex recently implemented the "Save and Continue" feature for On-Prem, but not us  I've read a few of the threads on this topic for 365, but haven't found a way to implement this well. I tried to save and redirect to the edit form of the item with Javascript, but that doesn't seem to work so well.
Hi Community;any idea how can i achieve this in O365 !I have a country to select, then same services for both countries, then based on country selected and service selected, i have to filter documents needed.   Thank you for your help in advance;Ahmed
Some of our users will be submitting via their desktop computer, others via their iPhones and we were hoping to tell which submissions came from which platform. Thanks!
I am relatively new to Nintex, and am not a coder but since our shop is so small I am hoping for help with a solution, please. I am trying to figure out how to setup a form so that the title changes based on a date entered by a user. The control for the date entered by user is [Perf_Date] and I am trying to setup so that if that date falls between 01/01/2017 to 05/08/2017 then the form title is "Spring Progess Tracker" If the date falls between 05/09/2017 to 12/31/2017 it would change to "Summer Progress Tracker" Would it also be able to capture this title to a column so that the view could be filtered to show results for that info? Thanks for your time.
Due to a need to save one form in several different folders of a list (each with different permissions), I need to set a value on the form used to set a default lookup value (appropriate to the destination folder) in the first part of a cascading lookup filter.Currently I have (in a plain list) 2 lookups on the form, which save to the list: Business Unit    Country/Region Not all Business Units are present in the same countries, so the Bus Unit lookup is used as a filter for the Country/Region lookup. My folders are based on the the Business Unit value, and it is this value that I would like to set a default value for.By creating links based from inside the (already created) Bus Unit Folders, I have found that the list items save inside the folders fine. But I still need to set the Bus Unit inside the form, to allow the requester to select the appropriate country from the Country list. These values (Bus Unit and Country/Region) are used to pull in appropriate managers (in the workflow
