We are trying to merge fields from an external object in SFDC into a document using drawloop.
Is this something that is supported? And if so, is there documentation for this somewhere?
I'm running into some issues when i try to POC it.

If the data you need for your document isn't stored on the object on which you base your Document Package, you can create a Salesforce Object relationship to pull additional data into your documents. Once you have a Salesforce Object relationship in place, you can manipulate or add data to it by adding a filtering or adding an alias.
