Workspace: user authentication from client pc

Hi,


I've done a standalone install of BP, when working on the server machine my workspace etc. is working fine.


When trying to access the workspace from a client machine I get asked for a login and can't get pass this.


I am able to use the server from studio, browsing smart objects and services and deployment works fine.


Any ideas on this? ( the www app pool is set for windows integrated auth )

    Hi Mandarb,


    Try to set the NTAuthenticationProviders for the site K2Workspace is running under to "NTLM".  By default this setting is empty which in turn defaults to "Negotiate,NTLM".  If you're not sure about the procedure to do this, please refer to KB article #123 for K2.net 2003.  This article discusses Kerberos configuration but one of the steps describes this procedure in detail.


    Also, make sure that the K2Workspace is added to 'Trusted Sites' on the client machines.
