Worklist items stopped by browser popup blocker in 4.7
 

Diagnoses


There is a change in behaviour that causes the browser pop up blocker to kick in when attempting to open up items from the work list this was not the case under 4.6.11. This can be worked around by instructing users to add the application to the browser?s trusted sites list but this is not ideal, is there a way to resolve this ?

 

Resolution

Please do the following:

Inside Internet Explorer > Internet Options > Privacy > Pop-up Blocker > Settings

You can also apply this via a group policy so that it can be applied to all users on the domain.
