+1The Workflow starts at a field update
Once it runs 2 times sometimes 4 times simultaneously.
I did the following steps but the problem was not solved:
The first command in the workflow is delay.
Safe Looping enabled.
I also restarted the server , cleared workflow history list, purged workflow history and cleaned my workflow.
Hi, does the workflow contain any Pause actions? Because I've some workflows with a Pause further down the workflow and those also seem to jump to an earlier action in the workflow itself. It shows in the workflows history log that at some point already completed action that should not run again are executed again.
Or are in your case multiple instances started for the same workflow.
+1Several instances have started for the same workflow for the same item when the multiple items update is made.
If the same workflow is started manually from the menu it works correctly

do you mean with 'delay' a pause for ... action?
hopefully you've configured it to wait for a value greater then zero.
this usually should get rid of this problem...

can you check in version history, how many changes are in fact made on an item?
