I have a workflow that if started manually it does it's thing and will complete. But if I try having it start automatically when a field is modified it always says "In Progress" and never completes.

+1It's the only one I use. But I think I figured it out. I was using a loop for something and it was getting hung up in that. I didn't really need the loop so once I got rid of that everything works fine.
