Workflow Engine requirement with Nintex

Hi,

I have SharePoint 2013 environment. Want to install and use Nintex Workflow. Do i need to install and configure SharePoint 2013 workflow Manager or Nintex Workflow will work independently and no need to install and configure SharePoint 2013 workflow engine.

    Hi,

    Nintex Workflow will use legacy workflow 2010 engine, so you don't have to install Workflow Manager..on O365 instead it uses Workflow Manager (but there you don't care about the infrastracture)

    Thx. for legacy workflow 2010, do we have to start any service or do need any further configuration.

    Hi, usually all should be already configured with the standard installation of SharePoint..just check that workflow timer service is running (it should be)
