Who Is Currently Working On A Process

We have a need to display the current roles or users working on a particular process.  This can be either whether or not the process has been opened yet or not. How should we first approach this problem - smart objects, API, SQL?

    If you're using plan per destination then I believe you can use the Activity Instance -> Destination User from Process Data.  Note: this doesn't work with Plan Just Once.
