Symptoms

When adding a user to a K2 AD group, all Worklist Items change to the Available Status once all replication has taken place. This result in users losing the work from there Worklist that they have been busy working on.

Diagnoses

From reviewing the Activities in the workflow it was found that it was Planned as follow: ?Plan just once?, Number of slots = 1, Resolve all roles and groups to users and Keep roles synchronized = enabled. The destination for the activity included K2 roles, and in the Roles was Active Directory Groups. The issue could not be reproduced in a K2 test environment.

Resolution

As a workaround, it was suggested that the Keep roles synchronized option on the Destination Rule Options was disabled. This resolved the issue for the client and the Activity Status did not revert back to ?Availabe? Status in the Users? worklists when an AD group was changed.
