Symptoms

When using SharePoint user and groups we get back the user claim identity. K2 does not understand this value in straight workflow. User are struggling to know how to convert the claim id into an id K2 can understand.



 

Diagnoses

K2 uses its own smart object that is hidden away in a system folder, this is not intuitive for users. There must be some way to be able to get the FQN for the user somewhere that's accessible.

 

Resolution

TFS 553446 and 553447 logged for this.

Workaround:

Use the Inline Function or the SharePoint Integration Helper Methods.
