User Cannot Action assigned tasks - Error in Log "...Not Open for ..."
 

Diagnoses


Hi there,
We have an issue where a couple of users cannot action tasks that are assigned to them.
The error in the logs says: "...26033 Worklist item 47693_23 Not Open for K2ADFS:someuser@lionco.com"
When the user tries to action the task, I can see that the Status is 'Open'. I cannot release it though. I can do a Goto Activity to send it back, but the same issue occurs when the user tries to action.

 

Resolution


Issue caused by trailing white spaces in the User name in the Actioner table . Stripped them out of the table and the issue is no longer occurring .
