Symptoms
K2 4.6.11 error on upgrade on smartforms and control pack components. We are upgrading our staging servers from 4.6.10 to 4.6.11 using the K2 update manager. During the installation, we get errors on the setup log and red exclamation marks in the smartforms and control pack components.
This is a load balanced K2 environment. We get errors on both the smartforms and control pack components on [server01] and on [server02].
Diagnoses
Downloading the Installation package and run the upgrade from there usually gives a better handling of errors and a smoother installation.
Resolution
Running the Indvidual Installer for SmartForms resolved the issue. As for the control pack, there was a custom Timer control previously installed which was causing the installation to fail.
