Symptoms


When entering their exchange URL, the installation software does not verify it. Client receives "EWS Could not be verified" error

 

Diagnoses


We had client run through the set up and after the "EWS Could not be verified" error was thrown, we had the client click next and continue without validation, once we clicked next, client was able to select his version of Exchange and proceed with the installation successfully.
 

Resolution

Proceeding through the validation after the EWS URL verification failed was successful as the next screen allowed the client to select his version of Exchange and the URL was validated then. We also walked through installation of Smartforms without any issues.
