Updating a field when comparing one date variable to another

Hi

I've got a field on a list called 'OS End of Date'. I have a loop on a workflow which stores the dates in a variable called 'Loop'. Then I have a calculate action which is taking the date and adding 6 months to it and storing it in a variable called '6 months looped'.

What I need to happen is that if we're within 6 months of the 'OS End of Date' that it updates a filed called Status to 'Amber'. I've got a Set a condition action and an 'Update item'  action but it's not working. Any suggestions?

    your condition: Status EQUALS dt_DatesLooped doesn't make too much sense...

    along with dates, the query should return item IDs (or any other unique key) as well.

    then once your date condition evaluates to true you should pick respective Item ID and base the filter in update item action on that ID.
