Unable to register Oracle Service Instance
Diagnoses
When trying to register an Oracle service instance you get an error saying the following:
SmartIObject Server exception: Could not load file or assembly.
'Sourcecode.smartobjects.services.oracle,
The system cannot find the specified file.
Resolution
To register the Oracle Service Instance, you will need the following to be installed:
Oracle10g Release 2 ODAC and Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio .NET
Oracle 10g Release 2 ODAC 10.2.0.3 for Windows x64
Instant Client Package - Basic: All files required to run OCI, OCCI, and JDBC-OCI applications
